I wonder how long the wait is in Sweden?
Country: Sverige Season: 18 Number of teams: 27304 Number of regions: 27 regions Top series: Allsvenskan Online users: 1735 Active users: 26290 Waiting list: 8175 I also wonder if they may be holding off on all new registrations because of the recent IP move and subsequant web server problems.

We may be a season or two from adding another US division. This link was posted on the Global Hattrick conference yesterday. I found it quite interesting.
http://www.dandy.at/managers.html There are teams that are far more in need of a new division than us (Belgium, Denmark, Argentina, Romania, Norway). When you take into account that for each of these new divisions, over 8000 teams & initial players must be created, the additional load on their hardware would be significant. This is purely speculation, keep in mind I never have any idea what I'm talking about.

Look out, beer is on me! I could not keep this guy because of his last last name.
Your team has received 140 US$ because Wei Hyun-Suk (5622602), who was promoted from your youth squad, was recently sold for 7 000 US$.

Now I know why some peeps speculate on the transfer market.
Aristeo Florez (8467449) 18 years, passable form, healthy A pleasant guy who is tranquil and dishonest. Has disastrous experience and weak leadership abilities. Speciality: Head Nationality: USA Assessed value: 11 000 US$ Wage: 540 US$/week Owner: Rochester Roosters Warnings: 0 Stamina: inadequate Goaltending: disastrous Playmaking: wretched Passing: poor Winger: weak Defending: inadequate Scoring: poor Set Pieces: poor Just picked him up for $1,000 measly ones. I don't have a great feel for the market, but surely he's worth more than that!?!?!?

Didn't I hear somebody mention a new program which is sort of like HAM? I don't want to pay for HAM but I can't find the post about the new program. Anybody know what I'm talking about and have a link? Thanks.

This one guy posted something about it, I emailed him and he said he needed developers. So basically, it sounded to me like a guy with a bunch of great ideas, just no way to make them work.

As much as I hated to do it, I stuck this kid on the transfer list:
Alex Anderson (8050414) 18 years, wretched form, healthy Nationality: USA Assessed value: 75 000 US$ Wage: 1 160 US$/week Owner: Cedar Pond Horned Toads Warnings: 0 Stamina: wretched Goaltending: inadequate Playmaking: disastrous Passing: disastrous Winger: disastrous Defending: disastrous Scoring: wretched Set Pieces: passable I could not get him any playing time with 2 passable keepers already on the team. If you are looking for a decent backup keeper with solid leadership and decent set piece taking (he did score a goal for me in a friendly), I put him on the list for 10k.

Congrats on getting your team. However, the first place team is definately not mine. My Little Green Monsters are in 7th place in my league and are not a threat to anyone at the moment. We have been outscored 42-0 in our last 10 games (dating back to the last regime). Now I must go to hatttrick, find out who the imposter is and take him out. Thankfully, Hattrick isn'tall that time consuming since it is a day to day thing. It doesn't take long to scour the market and your team changes only 1x a week, so you dion't have to constantly check on it. Of course whjen you have 80,000 dollars left and don't want to spend more, you spend less time.

Do i have to pay for them to get here?>> The visiting team pays $6K for travel expenses. The crowd is usually bigger, and you get twice as much experience as a local friendly. All in all it's a great deal for the home side. rob |

YOu don;t have to pay anything if they are visiting you, but if you go to Denmark, then you have to pay something like $6,000.

Did I get a deal? I bought the following player for 17K:
Kristinn Daníelsson (7362272) 19 years, inadequate form, healthy Stamina: excellent_ Goaltending: disastrous_ Playmaking: weak_ Passing: passable_ Winger: wretched_ Defending: weak_ Scoring: inadequate_ Set Pieces: inadequate_ 3 goals I think I can bring up the inadequates. I bought him b/c I sold my top striker, he was 29 anyway. I also bought an 18 year old with inad. in scoring and D, which I'm training now, for 1000. Did I do a good job? And check Sweden for transfers, it seems young guys can fall through the cracks. |

He could be fairly decent. I had a 18 year old weak scorer just pop to passable in scoring this past week and he's now 20. I'll probably try to sell him for face value now. I could see you getting him to solid in two seasons or so. Good luck!

I think it's an excellent buy. Mind you, I don't actually have solid or excellent scorers like Ardent but I have a forward like that (passable passing/inadequate scoring) who's done darn solidly for me. And, of course, if you train shooting like Ardent, you shouldn't have much problem bringing him up to passable/passable at least. |

Well, already have a friendly scheduled this week, but would love to get a "Best of Boston" matchup sometime and get a friendly little rivalry going. Maybe try and make it a yearly event.
Any others pick Boston as their region? Maybe we could arrange a Mini-Cup. |

Meanwhile . . . I pull an inadequate playmaker who's poor at everything else. But, hey, passable form, though! Yeehaw! My 20 000 weekly spending is working out oh-so-well.

So count me among the hooked
Couple of questions: 1) How important is it to watch your money? I'm definitely going to kick up my youth squad spending, but should I worry about getting into debt early? If I kick up my youth squad, it looks like I'll be losing about 15k a week...I have 300k right now. Thoughts? 2) I have a passable coach already (woo-hoo), and he is defensive minded. Not to start a war between ardent and HFP, but how much should the fact that he is defensive minded influence my decision to have an offensive or defensive strategy? Should I even care? Also, should I worry too much about his weak leadership rating? 3) My best keeper is rated weak (and everyone else is wretched or disastrous), so I'm definitely in the market for a keeper. Since my team is 5th, and probably only going down in the very near future, should I just go for an inadequate keeper? 4) Finally, how quickly should I expect development to occur? I've got three or four guys who seem pretty good (estimated value in six figures), but two of them are 25 and 26. Are they going to get any better, or should I try to get money for them now? I'll look into this more tomorrow when I have time, but you guys know much more about this than I, and I know nothing about soccer (maybe this will finally get me into CM ) Oh yeah, my team info: Isla Vista Vandals (70384) #5 in V.25 (13 goals for, 34 goals against, 13 points) USA, California region Challenge me sometime

i just started my team so i'm pretty much looking to rebuild. My current keeper is rated inadequate and i'm looking to get a new one. Should i pay 150,000 for a passable one with solid form?
after this i'm looking to beef up my defense. What should i look for in my back four? |
