Here's what I see as a difference in this place.

I have a blog on here because I like to dad brag about my son so I have his baseball thread that I drop nuggets in mostly for myself but I guess some people keep tabs. E tends to drop his blog posts everywhere and then doesn't engage in the good faith discussions he claims to seek. HE dorps little bombs frickin' everywhere making threads completely dominated by his missives that I assume are mostly for himself. The difference is that mine are contained while his are everywhere and then he literally does exactly what he claims to be against ad nauseam. He literally is the definition of an energy vampire and whereas FOFC used to be a place where you could find enjoyment on top of information and sharing it has now become bomb drops by E that suck all of one's time, enjoyment and otherwise. Its uncontained to a few threads, they literally infect every thread so it can't be ignored. If one were to put him on ignore 25% of the threads would be incomprehensible because the ocntext of what they were talking about would be gone. It's fairly increidble how its played out over the last few years and I guess I didn't see it coming but we're living in it now. In the meantime I got banned for a month for pointing that out but in the meantime not only have others pointed out the same thing that he's doing he literally has done the exact same stuff himself to a multitude of others without remorse, without a mirror and without being addressed (literally in this very thread within the last few pages). So yes E.... Make a thread called E's thoughts and keep your missives in there so we can get FOFC back to what it once was.

FOFC is a forum, not a blog. Use wordpress if you don't want the free flow of and variety of subject matters.

I post about many things, my opinions, politics, current events, HoN, shopping deals, movies, shows, games, kids, travel, dogs, technology etc.

I think the fact that Edward64 is not the only person who gets this treatment demonstrates that he's not the problem, or at the very least that it's more complicated than saying that.

For the people who don't like his contributions, you really can just completely ignore every single post he makes. You don't have to allow it to interrupt your enjoyment of the forums at all. When it comes to arguing in good faith, I think he does better on that than most posters, including a number of those who criticize him on the regular. I personally think he's one of more valuable posters here. Meanwhile all sorts of other accusations by the majority go unaddressed.
