Aww come on now, we all know that will be a flood of these jerseys under many a tree this holiday season. We are part of the problem.

Yep...I can't watch it. Its really, really bad on the eyes and I can't believe nobody in the NFL is drawing any correlations with the viewership decline on Thursdays.

It is for me anyway.

Jameis Winston is great! I know I've followed him a little more closely than most, he's a totally different personality than any QB I can remember.

Here's part of his pre-game motivation before the Saints game a couple weeks back.

"We got to eat and I know we're hungry!" Winston began minutes before facing the Saints. "I know we can eat another W. I know ya'll done had some alphabets before. Let's eat a W tonight. But let's do it as a family. We need this...let's go eat some W's tonight, baby. I'm tasting the soup."

I love it. Man crush. I admit it.

I have no idea what to think of how the Jets' QB situation was handled this year. Petty has looked pretty good tonight and looks significantly better than the last time I saw against the Colts. Is this a matter of the coaching staff doing a good job developing a young QB throughout the year and bringing him in when he was ready or the coaching staff doing a horrible job sticking with Fitzpatrick for so long while stunting the growth of a young player.

Given recent events, I wonder how much of a track record Jameis still has. Well other than the crab legs thing.

Vontaze Burfict is a scumbag who should be banned from the NFL. I don't think he's done anything in particular today, just watching the Bengals and feel it's worth noting!

Surprised you didn't throw in how badly Brady got screwed and how you hate the NFL in there while you're at it.

I could go ahead and start the 2017 NFL thread so you can get a head start about whining about it in there if that'll help. You can beat the rush.

Steelers get flags thrown for two separate dead ball personal fouls but somehow officials just ignore the second one.

Doesn't have anything to do with the Patriots... I used to call out Rodney Harrison for cheap shots after the play too, although I don't think he was trying to injure players.

But hey, have fun defending the dirtiest player in the NFL, who to no one's surprise lasted 5 plays back on the field before getting called for another personal foul. (Although to be fair that was a pretty much a weak reputation call.)

The Steelers were pretty much making these same plays against the Bengals all throughout the 90s and 00s, but NOW all of the sudden, they are unbelievably dirty while back then the Steelers were just a tough team who did nothing wrong while getting punished by the NFL for crazy reasons!

Forgive me if I don't shed a tear over this.

Aaron Rodgers bails out McCarthy and Capers yet again. He's got to be a lock for MVP. Basically ensures that Detroit and GB will play for the division in 2 weeks.

The incident in Minnesota happened in September and I am pretty sure the track record of the players involved has already disappeared. Oh and the girl in that incident hasn't recanted her story either.

Poor Gus. He'll end up as a coordinator somewhere, although I could see him back in college with another HC job too. Gotta keep those ex-NDSU coaches moving up.

You deserve to, Steelers owned the Bengals this year and the Bengals played with their tails between their legs in both games. I'm hoping it leads to wholesale changes on the coaching staff, but I'm not holding my breath.

There goes Coach Bradley. Offically fired by muh Jags

I don;t normally like mid season fires, but I would have let him ho at teh halfway mark to see what a certain ex-Bills coach could do with the team. Doug Marrone was good with the Bills, on the Jags team already, see what he could do taking over with a half the year to make any changes you needed. Not sure if Marrone is the guy they'll pick for the last two games, but he;s who my interim would be.

I'm totally ripping of Bill Simmons here, but instead of the Pro Bowl, the week before the Super Bowl should be the two worst teams in the league playing for an extra 1st round pick (33).

How about those two play and, instead of the extra pick, the loser loses their 1st round pick?

How about a double or nothing showdown? Win and get both the 1st and the 2nd pick in the draft. Loser gets the 1st and 2nd picks of the second round.

That was the Simmons piece. Last two play and winner gets both draft picks. Theoretically accelerating their boost towards competitiveness. Loser will be back next year.

Of course God forbid Cleveland ever won then they'd draft the 4th best S on the Board and the best Center...or the tallest QB regardless of talent.

It's funny to hear the ESPN talking heads say that Bill Callahan is the reason why the Redskins sack totals are down and not even mention the QB change. Sacks should go down when you put someone in there who can make a pre snap read, who can take drops the right number of steps every time, and who knows how to move in the pocket to extend the play. Callahan has had a role in the improvement, but Cousins was being sacked far less than Griffin before Bill showed up.

So it wasn't until last night as I was watching an NFL wrap up show on ESPN that I saw that Reid called timeout on Succup's first FG kick at the end of the TEN KC game, which Succup missed.

Succup then proceeded to kick the game winning FG on the next play.

I said at the start of the season how much I hate that practice by some coaches, and I am now incredibly satisfied that that douche move ended up costing Reid the game.

Marrone seems like a good coach, but I question how good of a person he is. I still remember how he threw his own Cuse QB Nassib under the bus prior to the draft in 2013, which seemed entirely unnecessary to do to the leader of your college football team which got you the Bills opportunity in the first place.

And then how he left Buffalo was controversial, too, using the ownership change clause and how he handled it with his team.

Seems kinda like a dick to me.
