Wow. I go to fill up my water bottle and it's 5-0 when I get back.

This is...unprecedented. Brazil are imploding defensively (and Germany are playing just absolutely on-point offensively).

I would love for an OVER RATED chant to begin, but not sure how that sounds like in German.

You just have to open up your thesaurus to find words to describe how epic this spanking has been. Brazil has been eviscerated.

That was kind of funny... "They'll have to try to put 5 more players out there and hope they can get away with 16 versus 11."

This ties the most goals allowed by Brazil in a World Cup match. They did beat Poland 6-5 in 1938, but that game was just 4-4 after 90 minutes.

My Portuguese club randomly won in Tottenham 5-1 and was 4-0 in the first 30 minutes in Champions play before I turned it into a powerhouse.

So do we think Brazil just cratered since Neymar's not on? Or Thiago Silva being gone?

Because I mean...Germany hasn't looked THIS good all tournament or anything.

Not to say they're not playing great offensively, but I mean...it looks like Brazil's not even on the pitch.

Doesn't this make the US look a lot better?

I'm glad we've got the broadcasting treat we do since they're quite entertaining even in a game like this.

It's FIFA's fault

I stand corrected actually, it requires a team to be down to 6 to get defaulted. The minimum on the field is 7 players.

Media over here has praised Germany as the best team of the tournament (before this game started) and how Brazil has been underwhelming and lucky.

I do agree that it's more about Brazil being so clumsy than Germany being so good...

That half has put the cat amongst the pigeons, overturned the applecart and has literally turned the World Cup on it's head.

Let's not get too excited just yet, Germany choked a 4-0 lead at home versus Sweden in their last qualifying game. All the goals allowed were in the final 30 minutes.
