Really? C'mon now. I mean it's one thing to fall for that reveal. It's another to defend it.

An hour left to deadline? Set to get lynched as a wolf? Why wouldn't he pull out any stop imaginable.

Of course, we'll know if Danny is on the level once EF is lynched (more or less), so I'm taking those more as him protecting his roomate than protecting a wolf of course (see, hence why heinzy no protecty someone he knows nothing about).

That leaves Telle's vote. Tough to say really how suspicious that one is. I mean I can see not wanting to make it 5-2-2 in order to keep discussion alive and the vote relevnt

Hannibal's vote was a terrible idea. I mean besides the horrid decision to trust a transparent seer reveal, it's a tough vote to swallow. I lean misguided villager moreso than wolf on it though. You'd have to be an awfully ballsy wolf to make such a blatant save such as that.

Also, keep in mind that EF did confirm that I was the BG, so in the unlikely event he is good, I should still be cleared. But yes, my votes were suspicious

and if he really was the seer? dont forget there was no actual evidence, ill give someone the benefit of the doubt, either he is the seer and its a good move, or hes not and hes dead in 2 days. it looks like i was wrong... but its a worthwhile risk

Well we learned Danny is the BG. Which doesn't exactly help us and accomplishes the same thing we could have yesterday, wuthout the BG reveal.

I am curious though having never been guarded by the BG, is it normal that the person being guarded would know who guarded them?

Yeah, I really don't doubt your reveal or you in general whatsoever, but thought it was only fair to point out.

I believe that it is pretty rare to know that you were guarded.

I don't think I've ever seen a game played this poorly by the village.

If I was a wolf why would I reveal as seer and then perform a night attack to put myself at risk of being found? I was the one who revealed and was on prior to the deadline so the "maybe the orders were issued early" doesn't hold any water. So basically by the end of day 2 we are going to have a lynched seer, an outed BG and the possibility of a converted janitor already. Talk about playing from behind the 8 ball.
If you are a wolf, the village play is not so weak. On the question of “If I was a wolf why would I…?”. You would make the fake reveal because you were about to be lynched. I can see you being chosen for the night action in order to not risk another wolf. In a lot of game mechanics, the person being guarded does not always stop them from performing a night action. I’m not sure how most of the recent games have been played in regards to this factor.

In the end it just seems like the best course to take for the village.

If the seer has not already scanned Jackal, I would love for this to happen soon so we can start forming a strong COT from the Day 1 vote.

I think that would also help with evaluating some of the questionable votes ... they are not that questionable if we hit jackpot and had two wolves lined up against each other.

I'm leaving for school in a few minutes.

I'll be back on around 3:30 EST, if the general sentiment by then is nightfall I will run the deadline at 4:00EST.

If anyone who has a night action could get it into me by then that would be great, if not I will wait to run the night phase until I have all the night actions.

If anyone has a problem with this PM me and I'll continue with the normal deadline and not mention who had the issue.

This part bothers me. How did EF know Danny was the BG? Did he pick up on a hint Danny left? If so, why didn't the wolves go after Danny last night?

He knew after the night phase. He saw me watching him all night and the PMed me saying that he scanned me as good and saw me watching him, so that I must be the BG.

I would be OK seeing this one play out to the bitter end if the parties involved were really going after each other. But that does not seem to be the case. Therefore, I would prefer to move ahead a day and see where we are at in the process at the start of D3.

OK no one seems to have an objection.

The tide swings quickly towards EF after a short day, maybe there is a kegger tonight?

You all swarm towards Eaglefan and bowl him over, the way Brandon Jacobs is going to bowl over Brian Dawkins. As you string him up and the noose wraps around his neck the Westbrook jersey rips into shreds and he begins to turn into a wolf.

His lifeless body sways in the air as you all celebrate cathing this vermin. Too bad for him he won't be around for Sunday's game, allthough the general consensues is you did him a favor, as the Eagles will likely suffer the same fate.

You all wake slowly after the big party last night, as you all make your way down to the quad for classes you notice someone is missing. You make your way up to the Presidents house on top of the hill and find Jonathan Ezerik ripped to shreds, victim of a wolf attack.

Day 3 has begun, Deadline 10:00 PM Monday night

I tried to subtlety tell EF through PM and on here that there was a very good chance the BG wasn't around to see his reveal and wouldn't be protecting him. Or he may have just overlooked the fact the someone guarding him would prevent the night kill.

He already stuck his neck out with the fake seer reveal, and it was obvious that he wasn't well believed. So it made sense that they didn't want to risk a different wolf getting identified during an attack.

How in the world did I not know that I was rooming with the president?

Would people be interested in me publishing a trust list that I got from Jonathan shortly before his death? At least you would know the thought process of a known villager, rather than trying to figure out if it was constructed by a wolf trying to pull something.

We had started discussing some of his "slottings" but had not had enough PMs to get very far in that process.

One of the people that we had talked about was Heinz. Prior to him sending his list, I had commented that I thought he was one of the people who came out the best from D1. Not only because he voted for Eaglefan, but because he came after him aggressively and did not back down from it later when he would have had an opportunity to do so.
