Alabama has 2 timeouts. Make them use both and drain some clock on the 3rd down if you don't get a 1st. What a stupid play call.

Someone gave OSU's offensive coordinator a magic 8 ball to call these last plays.

Outside of the long TD run, OSU's play calling has been atrocious this quarter.

Can we just go back to the polls now and have Oregon vs TCU?

I don't think Sims is good enough for it to matter, but that's an all time kind of clock management error. This one should be one and done

Throwing short in the middle of the field when you need a TD? Why not.

Awesome, well, one of two things happen now.
1.) Oregon rightfully wins the national championship or 2.) THE Ohio State University wins the national championship. LMAO!!!! |

Ultimately a good game, some real goofy stuff there in the last 2 minutes though. I think Oregon will just destroy OSU.

Yeah, I definitely agree with this. They gave the guy the catch, but that wasn't a fumble?

I didn't think Alabama was that much better than OSU.

You may not have, but OSU was 7.5 point underdogs vs. Alabama. I think Oregon v. OSU is going to be closer than folks expect.

I agree the magic carpet ride will be over for OSU and their fans should be careful what they wish for. I will echo other posters comments and wish it was Oregon vs TCU. |

Definitely a FUMBLE. I rewound that on the DVR and watched in slow motion, no question about it, guy was in mid air when the ball came out. The refs blew the whistle real fast too.. I wondered if OSU should have called a TO there so they would review it, or is that up to the refs? Reminds me of the Nebraska 5th down |

Under the old system it would have been florida state vs Alabama. And that's why the SEC has so many BCS titles

Ditto. It's my "Notre Dame" test for whether or not I genuinely hate a team. "Would I root for ND against them?"

Anyone else notice the clock kept running on the fumble ruled incomplete pass? Took like 25 seconds off, but literally nobody there seemed to notice.

SEC West: 2-5 this bowl season.
Speaking as an LSU fan my whole life, I will never buy into this whole "S-E-C" BS. I root any of our rivals because I hate them. What the hell is conference loyalty? I was very happy about that game last night |
