Looks were probably not the primary factor. It is beginning to sound like he wanted to hook up with ladies that would put out and not make any demands. The kind he could call and hook up with anytime he wanted, but weren't going to beg him for a marriage or blackmail him (at least until the shit the fan over the past 10 days or so).

No, I wasn't making a comment on the hoes. I understood his logic on picking dowdy chicks who thought wouldn't be golddiggers and that he's a naive buffoon.

I really was commenting on the dereliction by his friends. I mean, he didn't have one dude in his inner circle who was like "Tiger, bro...seriously man?" Not at the looks, just at his various rookie mistakes.

I mean, he's no rocket scientist and is clearly proven to be just a dumb jock, but...I'm just more aghast at how badly whipped his entire inner circle is.

This seems to happen whenever somebody is vastly more wealthy than the others and gives them access to a lavish lifestyle they might not otherwise get to be part of. Few want to rock that boat and screw it up for everyone else.

I suspect Tiger's problem has less to do with being a dumb jock and more about some other psychological issue. Given his status, and the fact that he makes a whole lot of his money by maintaining his reputation, this kind of behavior is self destructive.

I liked Perkins a lot. But that's probably more due to the fact that I used to live at one quite a bit during college.

Granted, I haven't been in one in 10 years now.

I cannot stand Perkins. Every time my family recommends it I will immediately say no and make sure they choose something else. I used to LOOOVE going there for the breakfast but something about it changed and I haven't been back more than once or twice in the last few years.

TMZ is reporting that Tiger was admitted to the hospital as an overdose patient. The drugs listed are Vicodin and Ambien. Guess that makes a bit more sense for the reason for the crash as well as his neighbor saying he was snoring afterwards.

I was on Ambien years ago and was given Hydrocodone for a knee issue I had. Mixing that stuff may not be dangerous physically, but it made the Ambien go into hyperdrive. The first night I slept twelve hours. Received a call in the morning from a co-worker that I had no recollection of later on. Apparently went back to sleep after that. It felt more like a blackout than sleeping. I was on a rather mild dose I imagine so if he's on heavier versions of the two, there is no way he could handle a car.

Makes me wonder if the window breaking was less about attacking him and more about scaring him into stopping the car before he left the house. She had to know that it was really dangerous for him and maybe was doing all she could to stop him.

I didn't touch the Ambien again until the Hydrocodone was no longer needed. Then gave up the Ambien a couple months later as I didn't like the side effects.

Remember Tiger was in serious condition after his wreck so I don't know how much stock to put into this report but we may be witness to what happens in a lot of non-millionaires houses across the country every day. It's absolutely incredible how stories like this seem to explode into a mushroom cloud when it appears at first that there's little more than a firecracker. The only blessing here for the wife is that she will have $300M to live her life and raise the kids. The bad side is that we have yet another father in our society who will not be a good role model and influence for his kids. What a waste.

I have a greater respect for Phil Mickelson after this whole mess. Hard to believe that people consider him to be a bad guy. Seems like a good guy who loves his family and took the selfless road of leaving the tour for a time to help his wife through cancer treatments. He has his priorities in order.

I heard one doctor say she looked at the log where that came from, and to her it looked like 3 seperate calls (one said "refused treatment", one said "life support", and one said something else). None of them were tied to any specific location, it was just a reporter's guess based on the times.
