Ping Old Guys...I'm thinking of a cartoon

So I've been trying to think of a cartoon or cartoonist, and my usually reliable Google fu has deserted me.

I'm remembering this famous cartoon, cartoonist really, that featured a character walking toward the observer with the leading foot/shoe/sole of shoe depicted in a supersized perspective relative the rest of the body. I can't find it, but I can remember it. I'm sure that it wasn't just a dream.

That was it. Not as exaggerated as I remembered it, but you nailed it.

Life distracted me a little in between asking and getting back on line this evening, but Thank You

It wasn't as exaggerated as I remember it either, though I think it was co-opted by other brands/users a million times since it was first published, and could've been further exaggerated in the process.
