Who pays the bills in your house?
I mean who is actualy responsible for mailing the check/ going on line. Not making the cheese.

Me. I love my wife, but I would have a hard time letting her do the bills...

I like knowing exactly how much we have and where it's going. Plus, math really isn't her thing...

fair enough. My wife handles all that stuff, she is way more orginaized then me. It's not like I can't do it, I made it through 30 years without her, but if she wants to do it I wont say no |

Lady H_B is our household's Master of Coin. She's a lot better at this kind of thing than I am and a lot more organized.

I do, as we joke about, i manage the family "macro economy" (business, bank accounts, bills, etc) and she handles the "micro economy" (daily shopping, cash, etc).

I do it.....which isn't always such a good thing. I'm a procrastinator with a bad memory. I love places that just auto-pay out of checking, because I can't mess that up.

I used to do it, but she does now. She's significantly better at it, and cares more. Plus, I was tired of getting second-guessed on how I was doing things.
I get to take out the garbage, though. Go me! |

I let my wife do it because well, it's one less thing I gotta do.

I used to do it. But I was terrible at it and my wife took over. So household axiom #22 really works. "The less it appears you know how to do, the less you have to do."

My wife and I share the expenses of course, but she does the actual bill paying.
In the past few years, she has: - Had us double-paying our mortgage for about six months, until the bank called and asked what the hell was going on - Overpaid the sewer bill so much that we wound up with a credit that lasted two years - Paid $250 to Visa that I didn't owe. After I yelled at her, the next month she vaguely remembered something important about Visa so she sent them another $500. So yeah, it's working out great for us.

My wife is smart, accomplished, and makes almost 50% more than I do. But money issues terrify her. So my Sugar Mommy will keep me in the bling as long as I take care of the bookkeeping. That, my friends, is a heckuva deal.

I do the bills. I've been in the spot where she was doing them because I kept running late and she was always second guessing. Now I just do them along with our business accounting, so it gets done.

I didn't know your wife worked for Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment Ltd. The Jeff Finger and Jason Blake signings make perfect sense now.
