If you could be any Stephen King character who would you be-NO Spoilers?

Don't know if this will gain any traction or not, but something I thought of earlier today. I am sure we have a lot of King fans.

I need to think on this one for a bit, as there are so many great ones, but most of them have had a hard journey.

M-O-O-N, that spells Radii.

(Not my actual answer, this deserves some serious thought, but it needed to be said anyway)

Roland would be mine too. There is a show on Hulu called Castle Rock that features some of his characters.

Are there any that actually live through a King story without being maimed or in need of mental health? Then I vote for that one

Yeah, I’d lobby for a different author. Bad things happen to King’s characters.

Jack Sawyer. The Talisman is a fantastic book and one of my favorites. I hope this this counts because he wrote it with Peter Straub.

If you havent read this one, you really need to.

Yup. Despite the hard journey and brutal goings-on, it's gotta be The Gunslinger.

This is the genesis of this question. I just started rereading (listening to) The Dark Tower series again.

Roland Deschain is my favourite character, but not sure I'd want to be him.

Roland is the correct answer.

Flagg could be pretty cool.

Hard to not pick Roland though. Granted there's a bunch of his books/stories that I've yet to get to.
