Dislike Stickys??

Who here thinks the sticky threads get annoying? I go to the OOTP board and the first 10-15 post are sticky threads and you have to scroll down half way to find the newest post. Just my little gripe

That's good to hear. Maybe just system announcements? The SI boards also have a whole bunch of stickies.

I like that, or something to off-set them. But I do agree it is better to have them than not.

JBL, FOBL, 400 and many other boards have a separate Annoucement/Notices/Community Update forum. That doesn't preven sticky but it can be a place for mods to segregate sticky-type threads.

If it would be possible to have something to offset them, it would be nice. Perhaps a really bold dividing line between the last sticky and the first regular post? Or perhaps a separate pane, if either of these are possible?
