What will be of highest importance is figuring out how many camps we think we need to win. The wolves clearly know the answer to that question already. If we can nail how many camps we need to win, I feel pretty good about the game theory that will be required.

BK, I agree 100% with you here. I figure worst case scenario is 3 wolves, but add 1 just in case, make it 4. I think we need to win 4 battles. Knowing that, I think that you can make some good calls here regarding our numbers and hopefully the wolves will shot their load trying to win their number. IF there are 4 wolves, then they need to win the first 3 and we need to be sure that doesn't happen. That's as deep into strategy as I'll go until after their deadline.

I think this is a case where worst case actually does us a fair amount of harm. I would really love if people, either before or after the sympathizers deadline, give a firm number to this question. I would also really love if people gave a real list, in rank order, of who they'd like to see me delegate to.

Will do BK. I will throw out what I think is a realistic number of wolves and a truly safe number to work from. I assume there are 2 wolves. A safe assumption to work from is 3, meaning we need to win three camps and that should be our goal. The one big advantage we have is that for every camp they lose, that is one more they need to win.

As for my trust list:
1- Danny
2- Heinze
3- GlenGoyne
4- Claphamsa
5- CR
6- RendeR
7- ntndeacon
8- DT

Obviously, no Lathum.

I'd assume 2-3 wolves. Thanks to Lathum for revealing, or we woulda been shot-to-shit there.

My list (FWIW - I know I'm likely near the bottom of most people's so I don't expect it to carry a lot of weight).

1 - DaddyTorgo
2 - Glengoyne
3 - Heinze
4 - Chief Rum (he's got double jobs though, so idk if he'd be a good delegate)
5 - RendeR
6 - Danny
7 - Claphamsa
8 - NTN

The term "red-neck" comes from the Battle of Blair Mountain where miners wore red bandannas to identify themselves from the enemy.

Makes sense, I just figured we're all (probably even Lathum) going to list ourselves as the top trusted person next to BK so I didn't bother throwing me in there.

Please note, labor, that you can change appointees for different parts of the day.

Barkeep could post "Appoint Abe" and then I run the first Stage, and then I have to go, so I could then post Appoint tanglewood and tanglewood runs Stages 2 and 3 and then might post Appoint Barkeep because BK will be around the next day but not tanglewood, etc.

BK will always be allowed to override whoever is the appointee, because of his role. If Bk appoints Bek, but then does not like what Bek's posted # is, he can override it in a the last few minutes if he wants.

You cannot "unappoint" but you can undo a number to resubmit a new one.

Let's say Bek said:

Use 100,000 soliders

Then decides he wanted to change that to 200,000. He could simply:

UnUse 100,000 soldiers
Use 200k soldiers

That would be fine.

Abe, point of clarification, can BK and his appointee PM each other to discuss strategy in private? This could be a big help so that BK can weed out sympathizers.

like i said - my play has been somewhat questionable all game so i doubt BK is going to put a ton of weight into my opinion

The wolves can arrest today? Seriously, this game has felt like it has been very skewed in their favor for a while.

What is the value of arresting one of us today?

Well since Abe hasstated that items are useless now I will put my item out there for review.

During the searching mission I discovered a Fiddle that, if a certain circumstance were to happen (loss of moral in a camp, noted by a very specific statement from Abe) then I could play the fiddle and counter the loss in moral by doing so. I'm assuming at this point that a situation simply never came up or had time to with the quickness that the main events happened.

Clap, Why so little trust for me?

Just to help anyone considering me:

I was a searcher with X2 ability, I went on more missions than work and the missions I went on all succeeded as far as I can remember (not slogging through 68 pages of shyte to verify) There was a sympathizer among the searcher-skill people (Jackal) and I would be hard pressed to accept more than one sympathizer in any one specialty just because of the way the game mechanics seem to have run.

Points against me: I've been very quiet since the first couple days and I missed one action/vote night altogether due to reality interjecting itself in the middle of my fantasy time.

Now, lets go kick some Company ass.

Um....no? Why would you think to even ask? It's like asking, "Can We Know the Names of the Sympathizers?"

So NO, BK and another may not cheat.

I guess I was just unclear then on how BK knows what troops his appointee is sending in order to override or is all of that done in thread?

Sorry, didn't mean I wanted us to cheat. Although...

Ok the sympathizers action should be in. So let's talk numbers. Again it would be helpful if we formed an idea of how many camps we think it takes to win. The idea should be to end the game, win or lose, with as few points as possible.

assume it takes 4 wins, divide our total by 5, keep 1 5th in reserve to augment things, hit them with 1 fifth today to see how things fall out.

OR

Hammer them today with overwhelming numbers, try to win with a single massive blow, holding a good amount in reserve to play out an attrition game if the first blow fails.

OR

Test the waters with a scouting force first, send it out into the flanks of the company areas to see how strong they are and test their defenses.

Use that information to formulate the next assault using feints and counter moves to flush them into an area where our entire force can surround and eradicate them to the last worthless company scumbag.

I don't want to assume 4 wins just because it's the safe thing to do. If we assume 4 and it's 3 we dramatically reduce our chances of winning.

I amm Assuming that the companies troops can't be reused either. I wonder if a strategy of letting the company expell thier troops might not be a workable strategy. I imagine we have more than enough folks to cover the loss of the first individual.

I believe we probably have to do more than win each time. (or at least a tie goes to the company) since our troops are not as good. If we are going to try to win this round. Iwould suggest a number that makes it less likely we tie.
