Our defense was a bit off today, but we beat Western Michigan by a wide margin. Nice tuneup game as we get ready for our impending visit to Gainesville in a couple of weeks.

Ohio State in a thriller over EMU. Just kidding. Ohio State 56-0. Third string RB Carlos Hyde takes off for 194 yards and 4 TDs in the second half.

We also got our first commit of the season. 6'3" SS Sean Williams a 5* recruit(#2 SS in nation) gives new coach Dubb93 an early week 1 hard commit.

Wisconsin ended up pulling away from LSU in the 4th quarter. The game started out shaky with the LSU defense dominating in the 1st quarter. Al Willis (second string RB) had a few great runs in the 4th to score two TDs and Kohout, Senior Defensive Tackle recovered a fumble and took it back for 6. The game was lot closer than the score reflects.

Fans at Camp Randle were excited to see the Badgers unveil their new Pistol based, motion heavy offense this season.

Had quite a few insta-commits, including a couple of 5* guys.

Racked up a ton of yardage against Wyoming, but couldn't turn it into a bunch of points. Hopefully the red zone troubles are a one time thing, and aren't a sign of things to come.

Ohio State survives at Washington 28-7. We saw more Cooper at RB than Polk. Polk was effective early, but I think he suffered an injury, not sure, will have to have Smooth confirm that. After Washington went up 7-0 in the second quarter the Ohio State defense clamped down holding Washington to just 18 yards on 23 carries and allowed them to complete just 36% of their passes while harassing the QB the whole way.

A few big plays on the other side of the ball(TD passes of 76 and 27 yards and a TD run of 45 yards) and Ohio State was able to pull away. Good game Bigsmooth.

Good game. Yeah, Polk got hurt pretty early. Thought we were in the drivers seat for awhile there but my WR's just couldn't get any separation and you got a few timely sacks to nail it home.

Ohio State defeats #16 Cincinnati 26-7 behind 12 QB sacks(including a safety) and 178 yards rushing. Ohio State pulls out the win despite a rash of turnovers on the rain soaked field in Columbus. Ohio State has only surrendered 14 points and allowed an impressive -86 rushing yards in three games this season.

Yea we were un-blockable, and actually have been the entire season so far. Atleast that side of the ball is working, now hopefully I can get the other side figured out sooner rather than later.

Man. Had a 14-0 lead in the second half in the Swamp (thanks to a fluke interception return), then watched it evaporate. Had a chance to win it on a 40-yard FG as time expired in the 4th, but doinked it off the left upright. Should have tried to run one more play and get a little closer. Ended up losing in double-overtime when Mike went for 2 and the win instead of going for one and taking it to triple overtime. Great game, man. One day, I'll win one of these close games...

After that INT I had to change QB's. My starter is a SO 5* recruit with solid ratings, but just doesn't make plays, he get sacked well after throwing the ball and he misses wide open receivers. Of course that could all just be in my head and I don't like him but the offense really opened up after the change.

I went for 2 because I just could not stop your running there at the end of the game or at all in OT.

Yeah, I think it was the most fun game I've had in this version of the game. It sucks. I had a timeout in pocket, and could have easily run another play to get a little closer. Kinda forgot about the ice the kicker feature. The viewing angle they give you makes it hard to line up the kick.

Mike had completely shut down my passing game, so I'd gone to pretty much run every play.

The Florida State kicker was apparently "kicking" with a golf club and ball. He nailed kicks of 55 and 56 yards to keep the score close, but Ohio State scored with 2:46 to play after a 79 yard drive to take the lead. Capping off the drive was a 1 yard TD run by junior RB Jaamal Berry.

Florida State answered with a great drive of their own as they advanced the ball down to the Ohio State 22 yard line. Two sacks in the next four plays was too much to overcome and Ohio State went on to win the game 24-20 at Doak Campbell Stadium.

I have the wierdest bug on my team. I started my game vs Stanford and on a bunch of play calling screens, it is listing a player #0. And on certain plays, I have an invisible linebacker. Never seen it before. I tried restarting my system and changing my depth charts, but it still happened on my replay against Stanford.

Despite, using a gimped playbook as a result, we beat Stanford 42-26. Also as a side note, I significant upgraded my internet in my new apartment. I think that was the problem in games last season over the last month or two (for example against Cartman) and I should be a much better human opponent now as far as lag goes. Although, my schedule is still very hectic at the new job.

I'm pretty happy to see Melvin Fellows in the top five for Heisman right now. Even though I know it's early and he realistically is the longest of long shots to win it, it still isn't every day that a DE is considered one of the favorites for the Heisman at any point in the season.

Funny that after I post that I start my game against MSU. First play from scrimmage Fellows blows past the T, hits the QB as he throws and the ball is picked off and returned for a TD.

Man. Was up 48-0 and the power went out at my house.

Edit: Green light here. 42-7 win in the re-match. Ohio State runs for just shy of 300 yards as a team and Fellows is ineffective enough that his Heisman campaign is probably finished before it ever really started.

I might have a serious issue. 2 straight times my game btw USC and Florida State has frozen up on the screen right where the team data is loaded. With the issues I had last week, I have a feeling my team has somehow gotten corrupted data. Going to look at my roster now...

Edit: Nothing obvious wrong with the roster, but it has frozen for the 3 straight time on the loading screen where it shows the logos of our teams. I think I'm screwed unless someone has a suggestion

I'll try again tomorrow in case it is just something with EA's server. Time to play some NBA 2k instead for now.

Game loaded fine today. About to see if I still have the mystery zero players or not...

Still have the mystery 0 player in nickel situations, along my offensive line, etc. Oh well, at least I can play.

It was a close game, but USC beats Florida State 28-16.

I just finally realized the problem.. so pissed I didn't check this earlier. My formation subs were completely fucked up. Not sure why they got messed up. I just set them back to default. Will replay my game later tonight.

Glad to hear you figured out the problem, EF27. Sorry you lost your finished game results.

It took a last minute touchdown, but USC beat FSU 24-17 in the rematch.

My defense has been atrocious the past two games. Beat Kansas 41-40 in OT, thanks to them missing their extra point. Had to kick a FG with a few seconds left to get to OT.
