Race #2 - Buffalo Wild Wings 400 Results

It was a great day for Phillips Racing as Mustafa Henderson picked up his first career win and Nick Phillips finished 2nd. Dexter Jackson came in third followed by Rip Lickingood and David Gonzalez. The race was littered with accidents, the caution flew 11 times for 43 laps. Contenders Rob Nielsen and Wade Moore were both knocked out of the race while running 2nd and 4th. Nielsen and Trick Dickle collided and collected Moore ending Nielsen and Moore's day. Trick Dickle was able to finish 8th with a slightly damaged race car.

Great - 2nd race in a row I've been caught up in someone else's mess. And 16c can't keep Doug on the track.

Avery Thomas has stepped it up this season...The off season discussion might have helped.

ToPaw Racing isn't doing bad with the points either.

Hats off to the guys in the pits...they did a fantastic job getting us back in racing condition and back on the track in a hurry, allowing us to nab another top ten. This one's for them.

are there normally that many accidents in a real race?

I think that's the most accidents we have had so far in this series. Most races seem to be clean. This season has started out crazy though with wrecks.

I thought I saw Helen's #6 get caught in two crashes, so I'm glad to see she was able to hang on the lead lap. Rip also raced ably after qualifying well.

That was rough. The General Lee ran another good race to get a top 10, but another DNF for the 02 car puts us in a real hole.

I've been playing with car design a bit.

Having a lot of fun with it, but can't really see how well I'm doing until I get the game to actually put the .psd file on a car.

If I'm at the point where I have the time/ability to do some for tohers, I'll let you know.

Very proud of my #92 Team!

19 is a very good position for the second race of the season, GO ON!

Also we were able to get in 4th position for a lot of laps.

CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT RACE, GO FOR THE TOP 10!

Race #3 - John Deere 400 Results

Trick Dickle picked right up where he left off last year and dominated the last half of the John Deere 400 today. No one else stood a chance as Dickle led 266 of the 400 laps on his way to the victory. Bo Duke was 2nd followed by Cannon Pace, Ken Schoonover and Alejandro Murrieta.

Helen's early-season slump continues, while Rip posts another Top-10 finish. It seems as though Ninth Circle can count on exactly one of its drivers to fare well each time out.

Well, I guess both 16c cars finished at least?

Really no idea what needs to change about my setup.

Race #4 - Coca-Cola 600 Results

It's almost as everyone in the FOFC Sprint Cup Series has forgotten how to drive clean. After a relatively clean season last year, with few races of heavy attrition, this season has seen numerous cars headed for the junk yard. Today was the worst of the bunch. Only 14 cars finished the day, and this was in a race in which we had over 200 consecutive green flag laps at one point. A big wreck knocked knocked out 8 cars on lap 7 and 4 were knocked out in a lap 94 wreck but after that the race was very clean for the next 200 plus laps. During this time Trick Dickle took charge and dominated. But on lap 324 nine cars were knocked out of the running, many who were in the top 10. The remaining drivers set their sights on Dickle but only Nick Phillips could mount a serious challenge. Phillips and Dickle battled and Phillips actually took the lead for 27 laps. But following the final green flag stop Dickle had the strongest car and took the win for the second straight week.

Survive and advance? Helen and Rip both finish a few laps back, but well enough to land in 11th and 12th. Helen shoots up from 29th to 22nd in the Chase standings, while Rip holds his place at 6th.

Man, I think that the 02 car is cursed. Only 53% of laps completed on the year? That sucks considering that the General Lee grabbed another top 5 finish, and has crept up into the top 5 now.

cmp - do you have any inclination on why there have been so many wrecks besides bad luck? Do you think it's because of how drivers are setup, a change in the mod, tracks, something else?

I have to be honest, I really like this game, but it's frustrating when now 75% of the race I've been caught up in other people's wrecks (well, I don't know if this one was other peoples, but the other 2 were).
