ping: Anyone who can get in touch with Schimdty

According to a Facebook post he's taken a bunch of Ativan. I'm not sure if it's a suicide attempt, but it could be. If you can reach out, please do so. Statistics show it can really help.

edit: It was yesterday, but reaching out is still helpful.

Good suggestion - nothing I can do to help, but I salute the initiative

He's been pretty open about his alcoholism problems on Facebook. I know he's trying to do a rehab and I encouraged him to ask us for help if needed.

I’m worried. It looks like his license plate is visible on one of the photos. RSA 817 -California. White caddy. But who knows if he’s in that exact car.

I don’t think he has enough Ativan to fatally overdose(according to what I read) but could cause an accident if he was driving.

He's been the Facebook equivalent of intoxicated with his communication attempts, and had a post about 'being homeless tomorrow,' FWIW.

Yeah, he's clearly not in a good place.

I see he created a fundraiser on the 14th trying to get to a rehab place in MI, but has had no response thus far. There hasn't been a post from him since late Monday night.

He did post a video about an hour ago from youtube to FB. I believe his ex-wife is somewhat involved with trying to make sure things don't get extremely bad. It looked like he had met someone new last month, but that doesn't seem to be together anymore now. I suspect there is more than just alcoholism involved at this point too. It's so sad to watch.

Can we initiate a welfare check of some sort?

I don't have an address, and I can't narrow it down past rural Washington.

The Youtube post is both encouraging and discouraging.

If, as he implied, he's homeless now? I'm not sure you COULD narrow it down further.

We could order him a pizza as a sort of a "stealth" welfare check.

Update: He took Greyhound to the planned rehab facility in Michigan that he was hoping to get to, and will be there for 90 days to try and get back on the right track again.

I wish him luck and I hope he chose a good center.

I've read several news articles about how many rehab centers are essentially scams.
