Trick or Treat numbers
Probably our lowest ever since we moved here. About 15. Big Neighborhood (and getting bigger), but not one a lot of kids live in. So more York Peppermint Patties, Twix, and White Chocolate Kit Kats for me

We had probably close to 50, but in the past we've had close to 200 before.

Edit: Same as the last 5 years since we moved here. We're on the outskirts of town and only a handful of houses in the immediate area. No one is wasting their time coming here to trick or treat when they could be in town or in one of the many subdivisions on the other side of town. Where we used to live was easily triple digit numbers every year.

I'm guessing we had about 100; bought four of the 140-150 piece fun size bags, gave out three to each kid and went through about two bags. Not our peak, but not bad. Most of our kids' cohort has grown out of it or went to other neighborhoods, though we did see a few familiar faces. At least there do seem to be some younger kids to fill the ranks a bit.

Probably 250 or so.
We are on a cul-de-sac spur off the main circle of our subdivision. So we dont see as many as they do. My wifes cousin drove the 1/2 mile from the entrance to our house and it took them 10 minutes.

I don't think any, but I was having plumbing work done tonight so I may not have heard them. When I was out walking my dog before, I only saw a couple kids.

The past several years significantly lower than when we moved in and the neighborhood was new with a bunch of young kids.
Kids grew up in our section. There has been more action in the newer parts. Kinda sad. Great subdivision but just demographics. |

Destination trick or treating is the cool thing to do in Boise. They get thousands of people on this particular street with big historical houses whose owners go all out for the holidays. Also 0. No kids on the block. No real way to walk by our 5 houses on one side of the road.

Lol.
There's a big piece of land across the street from us and I was telling my wife that it would be fitting if they built a shit ton of houses over there so that I had to pass out candy for the next 20 years |

Had about 30-40. Maybe this is just anecdotal, but the crowd seems much younger. Almost like most of the Junior High and High School kids don't care anymore.

About 70 here. Went full candy bars this year, it was pretty fun seeing the kids lose their shit about it.

Real low this year, probably our fewest ever, I would say around 35-40 is all. Couple of firsts though. Had a grandma, right around my age dressed up with her grandson and had her own bag, my oldest trick or treater ever. And a girl about 13-14 that was with her dad said "I really like your tattoos" then tried to touch one of them. Somewhat awkward.

Had a decent number, 30? Went inside for 5 minutes, left a refilled bowl of candy on the front porch while I ran in, came back out and there was one piece of candy left. My light was then off for the rest of the night as I was out of candy.

73.
We've been doing full size candy for 5 years now, fun to see the tweens get fired up about it. Old neighborhood from 2001-2011, we used to get minimum 200. We were in a nice flat neighborhood with tons of houses close together. Now we're on a hill in an older skewing neighborhood.

Zero. My street doesn't have a good walking/candy ratio. Usually we get a few.

Maybe 100ish, per my wife. I did the walking duty this year. Waited in line with my 8-year-old for over 45 minutes to go through the intricately-crafted "Haunted Garage" that one of our neighbors does every year.

Dola:
Families with young kids seem to be retaking our end of the street. Starting with us purchasing our house in January 2015, five families within 6 houses of one another have replaced childless homes with a total of 12 children who are currently ages 11 and under--9 of whom are girls. And the house across the street from us and one over has been sold to yet another new family with two *more* girls. I was told last night that the new family moves in this weekend. The dads are considering just building a fortified moat and hiring a guard to keep the boys out.

I don't have an actual number but numbers were definitely lower this year. Not just with the trick or treaters but also the number of houses that made the night an event. Fewer decorations, fewer adults in costumes. Overall, a down year.

About 75 in an hour. We didn't pass out the 1st hour as we were walking with the kids ourselves. Not as many pass out as they used to it our area, but there are still several that do. Downtown also opens up and they get several hundred.

Had about 30 or so - makes a change as its been ten years or so since I'd lived in an area where there were trick or treaters (my normal house has a long drive and is more rural).

We had one family of 2 kids stop by. The temperature being 30+ degrees cooler than last year probably had an impact.

Nice. I love Halloween. Seeing little kids light up when you dump a bunch of candy in their bucket is fun. Full-size candy bars are great. I've been buying a bunch of different bags and just giving each kid a handful. A little girl lit up when I brought out the bowl and said "you have really good candies!". I just dumped a giant fistful in her bag and she ran off squealing with delight. |

By the end of the night we were doing the same, giving kids like 5 things and they would get so happy. The days of taking my kids out when they were little is something I really miss! |
