Maryland, I'm available pretty much any night from 8:30 PM Eastern until about 10:00 Eastern to start our game. Will any night this week during that time work?

BTW, I was extremely excited to see that it uploaded my game results and only froze with the highlights...

My recruiting is done and we just landed a 4* ATH that I was gunning for.

Whenever is good for you is most likely good for me, Duke - I don't have a headset though, my son got a little rambunctious and stepped on the cord a couple days ago and bent the connector all to hell. I'll just silently seethe when my guys drop passes this time around.

8:30 to 10:00 PM Eastern works pretty much any night including weekends. As for during the day, I have kids so weekends get crazy, I may be able to carve out some time in the middle of the day Saturday from like noon to 2, but that may be tricky.

I'll probably be on at 10pm tonight to do my recruiting. If you are available then, go ahead and issue a challenge. Otherwise, I can meet you at 10 pm on Tues. or Thur. Let me know what works

Cal jumped to 10-0 lead thanks to a fumble by one of my receivers that led to a return for a TD and then a bad pick by Shaw, our senior QB. However, Shaw bounced back to lead us to TD's on our next 2 drives. Our mobile QB came in for redzone situations and had 2 scrambling TD's in our 28-13 win.

chesapeake and I just played, another frustrating loss for UTSA. I felt like I made one bad throw in the game, on the last interception we threw.. But we still threw 5. The ball placement on the throws was terrible, that is probably on me, although I thought I was throwing into wide open space a couple times.

Overall, we played our asses off and probably could have done better, but it was a good game and we'll learn from our mistakes. Big weeks ahead, we need to get on the good side of the W/L column.

GG chesapeake. We're almost up to snuff talent wise, but you saw on that goalline TD you threw, the youngsters still can't quite keep up with things. I called the friggin' perfect zone blitz coverage there and that DE just didn't react quite quick enough as the ball sailed over his head.. Thought that was the backbreaker, that and the encroaching. We encroached often, and looked good doing it. No wasted movements, just right offsides.

It was a good game, and you played very well to still be in it despite the turnovers, penalties and my 2 to 1 advantage in time of possession.

Really frustrated with this game.
Got the win. yay.
Started playing Friday night and an old friend from out of state dropped in to surprise us. Their kids and my son wanted to play some Black ops.and since it was the 2nd quarter I just cut the game off. (Was leading by 2 scores and had some nice stat padders including a 92 yard td run)

So Saturday AM I decide to finish it up...MUCH closer game aided by 3 fiumbles but still a 7 point lead at half. CLick the resume game button and ....nothing.

So I deleted the game from the HD and reinstalled it and lets see if the hang ups go away.

South Florida nips Maryland 10-7 in a defensive slugfest. Player of the game was South Florida's running back Brewster, with 20 carries for 118 yards and a TD. He got 95 of the yards and the TD on 1 play, for the only big play of the game. Lots of interceptions and tough defense. My kicker hit a 53 yard FG for the points difference, and missed a 47 yarder off the left upright that would have left me feeling much better late in the game.

Good game cmgdodgers, was quite the slugfest.

Looked like my game against South Carolina was going to be a long day. We fumbled and threw a pick in our first 2 drives to get into a 10-0 hole. Then we had a 95-yard fumble return for a TD called back on review. But our defense played another great game (I'm starting to love these guys) and the offense was methodical, and we won it 27-13.

We took a big step forward this week with a strong defensive performance in a big win against ECU. They were ranked 14 coming in, but I doubt they deserved to be that high. Either way a big win over a ranked team with a packed house of visiting kids has to be a good thing.

So pissed. I go from up 7 with the ball to start the second half to a 38-17 loss. It never freezes when I'm losing. So frustrating.

We stomped BYU, it was a little tight at the beginning but we were able to overcome the rough game by our freshman QB and pull off the big win..

Penn State's QB played as bad as I've ever seen a QB play in this game and threw 6 picks which helped us build a 35-0 lead at the half. We brought in the 2nd units in the 2nd half and cruised to a 63-14 win.

USC with a huge recruiting weekend and we struggled early with our first score coming with a second left in the half to tie the game at 7. However, we dominated the 2nd half on both sides of the ball and cruised to a 35-7. Hopefully, we'll get a few commitments from the 8 recruits who saw the game.

I am disappointed to lose out on that 5* FS, as we started the season #1 on his list. Unfortunately, nothing I tried could slow down Alabama's recruiting effort. That said, good safeties are fairly easy to find, and I have a lot of young, talented players at both safety positions already. I suspect that had something to do with Mr. Neal signing with the Crimson Tide.

Poor Texas State. They had the misfortune to play us after our embarrassing defeat to Georgia last week. We had a bunch of recruits in town, and we took out our frustrations on the Bobcats, 77-7.

I will get my game in tonight or Sunday night. But I am looking forward to see if I can even compete against TCU.

Mildly frustrating loss to VA Tech, 43-40. They were a slightly better team, but we got our offense going. Two big INTs by us gave them a pick-6 and a short field they turned into a TD, but that second pick was one of those "LB running across under the route to get somewhere magically spots the ball and picks it off" moves. We forced one fumble on a QB scramble (that no one recognized until he was almost in the end zone) that they fell on for another TD. Computer let me back in it at 40-35 (failed 2-point conversion), and then they drove down into the red zone. We got a sack, and next play they hit the 23-yard TD. I had a man open on the last play, but it was one of those plays where the CPU had rolled a sack, so I hit Y to throw, didn't see the ball come out, looked down at the QB just as he got hit plays.

It felt good to hang with VA Tech, felt like we could have just pulled the upset, but it wasn't quite there.

Made some nice jumps in recruiting this week, hopefully we can get a good crop of visitors in for our next big home game this coming week. I think we can win another one.

Lost a heart breaker to Kent State 24-21.
So many missed opportunities.
A fumble inside the 10 in the first quarter.
Then a hail mary right before half and we are sprinting down the sideline ...only to be caught from behind by someone wearing #97...oh well my WR was only a 92 speed guy.
Then we rally late and are driving for the win...inside the 15 with 20 seconds to go, run a rb wheel route and he is wide open, but the QB leads him out of bounds at the 2....12 seconds and no timeouts so Im forced to pass...and its picked off in the end zone.

damn should have won this one.

Sim my game, I am to irate and pissed to even attempt to play.

I won, 38-33, the game froze up trying to upload, then it disconnected from Xbox Live, I tried to reconnect several times over then it just dumped me back to the main screen of the game and asked me for storage location.

I scored on a 103 yd TD return to give me the go ahead, then another 47 yd TD after that to put me in the lead and then he whittled away and I kept him away from it...

Just pissed, knowing I won't get another opportunity like...

That sucks, Macro. I can definitely commiserate. If you need time to play it again, that is absolutely no problem.

I pulled a magic rabbit out of my hat and won 24-17. All of our points were scored in the 1st half and we were shut out in the 2nd half. Our defense held them enough while my offense tried to give it away.

Feeling better, and we just took down the #5 ranked team on the road...
