I wont be able to advance a stage from monday noon-Tuesday LATE NIGHT.

Then I leave out again early Wed AM and wont be back until Thursday evening...

Ive never recruited online but I can try to set it up I suppose if I am the only one holding us up or I can have my son do it vicariously.

Very happy with the progression of our guys. The Safeties got better this year, which helps a lot. We're starting to get good depth in a lot of spots.

Starting to build a roster.
Still a long ways to go.

Would love to get others ideas on your ideal roster composition.
Obviously due to pace it takes a while to get a roster turned around on line...but I've played a few very long term recruiting only dynastys.

Here is what I shoot for (to start the conversation flowing)
QB: 3
RB: 3
FB: 3
WR: 8
TE: 3
OT: 6
OG: 6
C: 2
DE: 6
DT:6
OLB: 6
MLB:3
CB: 5
FS: 3
SS:3
K:2
P:2

That works out to exactly 70. My K and P go between 1 and 2 as I try to sign the next one when the current is a JR so he gets to RS and the max rating increase. Same goes with WR I like 6 active for injuries and 5 WR sets, and RS every freshman...basically sign 2 every year.

Whats everyone else's thoughts?
Since we are so long in the tooth here I dont think we are giving any trade secrets away.

The way I try to build is to sign a shit ton of athletes and use them in multiple roles. I have a RB that plays CB and another guy that plays both ways too, but I forget what position. This year I will likely have 2 offensive linemen also playing some DT on occasion. It has helped immensely when trying to quicken the transition to competitiveness, but we do struggle at times when endurance issues keeping those guys off the field later in games.

Starting as UTSA I have had the luxury of being in Texas, so my recruiting philosophy has basically been to take the best we can get from within the state. I don't pay a lot of attention to position other than to ensure I have enough to fill the roster requirements at each spot.

Once I get to the point where I don't have to make promises like crazy to lure a guy in, I think that is when I will adopt a more spread out strategy. Ideally I would like to start pulling in a guy at each position every year along with a few athletes and just keep a steady rotation of juniors and seniors at the top. This season will probably be the first one where I try to start building some new pipelines.

Nice! My HB improved to a 98 OVR rating, a bump of 6. He was one of my first recruits, so it is cool to see them develop.

Thurman with a really nice bump. Our WR core is not as strong as I would like, but if they can make plays, he could be in contention for a Heisman this year. We also have a really nice trio of HB's to take the pressure off him and hopefully help the passing game thrive.

My Senior punter who was one of my first recruits is a 96. I just had a backup QB jump in overall to rate better than my Freshman I started last season, this is going to be rough.

My FB's, TEs and LB's didn't improve like I was hoping they would.

I think I might end up fighting to avoid relegation this season.
