I took #23 Virginia out behind the barn and had my way them tonight, 48-14. The running game was bottled up, so this gave Willy Korn a chance to finally show what he could do. 300+ yards and 5 TDs were what he put up. We're 4-1 now, playing through the softer (in my mind) part of the schedule.

Man, this team is missing on all cylinders. I can't run the ball worth crap and Hicks just isn't very sharp. Fell behind 24-6 at Baylor then mounted a furious comeback but fell short 38-35. My defenses in both my leagues just suck out loud. I need some shutdown corners in a hurry.

My secondary is terrible. And we're running out of cupcakes on the schedule.

Michigan knocks off #9 Wisconsin 35-10 in the Big House. Not much to add to that.

We had our hands full with Boise State. We scored the winning touchdown with 59 seconds left to leave Boise with a 35-32 victory.

PSU survives a MAJOR scare from the visiting Boilermakers. For some reason my young QB had an absolute meltdown, throwing errants balls all over the place, absolutely nowhere near his receivers on a regular basis. With a total of 6 picks thrown, one of which returned for a TD...it took us four overtimes to put away Purdue by a score of 47-41.
whew

Iowa gives the Hoosiers a good battle, but we are finally able to put some distance between us in the 4th, and win 49-33. Did get a dirty disc error early in my first attempt at the game. I thought you weren't supposed to get that if you saved the game to your harddrive.

I'm having major problems staying connected to Xbox Live and EA's Servers. Not sure why either as my laptop has been staying on the internet with no problem. Just lost my whole week of recruiting and will have to redo it later.. hopefully I can stay connected later.

Will probably play my game tonight around 10PM EST after I return from bowling league. Illinois always gives me fits.

I like that all five of the front-runners for the Heisman are RFL players (including my halfback).

I managed to get my Xbox to stay connected by resetting the router..
We may have to add Washington State to the no 1-AA rule They have ratings in the high 60's-low 70's and I could pretty much score at will. Up 77-0 late in the 3rd, I called off the dogs and finished with a 84-0 win. We scored in almost every way imaginable, kickoff returns, pick 6's, passing and rushing TD's. McKnight had over 300 yards from scrimmage and 3 TD's. |

Urgh. Didn't get to play after bowling. I might stay up and play tonight. Not sure. I might be a wreck at work in the morning, but that wouldn't be anything new.

We are done. Rolled over Arizona 56-21 or so. Blackman had 6 TD passes. Good times. Ready for the big matchup versus USC next week.

Did Pumpy decide to go ahead and play last night?

Looks like he opted not to play last night, so we'll advance tonight at 11 as scheduled.
