Parts of Lion's fans everywhere cheering that they keep losing so we don't have the record all to ourselves.

Good thing the Browns took out their rookie who wasn't doing badly for a crappy old QB that they know sucks

Probably one of the worst and least discussed coaching moves.

Benching a rookie QB who was playing well (no running game) for a 14 year vet journeyman when your season is already effectively over.

Pathetic Hue.

Probably trying not to get the young guy killed because he has seen enough to know he can play a little.

I completely disagree, he's come out and said it was to spark his team which is about as dumb as you can possibly get. And trust me, I'm not remotely high on Kessler having watched him at SC for 4 years but that's just fucking stupid. We're talking about Josh McCown here.

I really thought he'd be a great head coach this time round and the Browns are awful, but they've been awful for a really long time and never this bad. Massively disappointing start and if he goes winless I don't think he'll get another shot.

The Titans are currently averaging 15.3 yards per play.

Don't know if anyone is watching the Eagles Falcons game, but that might just be the dumbest penalty I think I've ever seen committed.

By the Eagles nat.

They're this year's Raiders, with the penalties. It's at the point where I expect them to be called for something in every big spot.

It has nothing to do with the refs.

Denver got away with one. I think the refs missed a clear out of bounds call on the return. I think there was enough evidence to overturn it.

Redskins with another 2nd half shutout. Seahawks and Giants losses would leave them tied for 2nd in the NFC.

Has the coaching rule on punt returns changed? I thought you put your feet on the ten yard line and if the ball goes over your head, you leave it alone. Evidently the Dolphins coach things differently.

I've seen that more this year than any other year I remember. College or pro. Tons of guys catching the ball inside the ten and sometimes inside the five. I don't get it.

It definitely seems to be somewhere between the 5 and 10 yard line....probably some PR for the Patriots accidentally advanced it and got a TD and now everybody is copy-catting that.

Bucs WR kneels during anthem. To protest Donald Trump.

What's next? Eli Manning gonna protest the flag because Billy's Lawncare didn't cut the grass at his estate on time last Tuesday?

That was a good finish to the half; after that bad facemask call setup the Patriots for their score. Hopefully a good drive to start the second half will bookend the half with Seahawk touchdowns.

Interesting choice to go for 2. I can see the temptation; going up by two scores.

Nice throw by Brady, but the pick should have been called.

Good game last night. I think the refs made the right no-call on the pass to Gronk. Both Gronk and the defender were shoving each other.

Zero doubt on that. Gronk was shoving right as the play started. If the ref throws a flag for PI there, you may as well end the season. Gronk (and Patriots fans) get pissed that Gronk is unfailry penalized for OPI, but that play there is exactly why it happens. He looks for contact before the ball gets there so he can push off. He does this A LOT.

9 times out of 10, the refs let him get away with it or call DPI. The other time is like a lotto ball of no call, OPI, or DPI. That was clearly a no call play last night in my mind.

If that was the big wheel -ish route late to Edelman Collinsworth pointed out that you can pick DB's if it's within a yard of the line of scrimmage. Didn't know that one.

Good no call on Gronk fade. I would've been annoyed with an OPI call because Chancellor was also creating contact and grabbing an arm, but I love the no call.

Wasn't thrilled with the play call. Would've preferred one of the quick slants where Gronk (or Bennett) use their body to shield the defender, or an Edelman option route. Gronk had just made a crazy over the shoulder catch but I feel like those fades in the end zone to him aren't caught that often. Draw a lot of penalties, but even if you get DPI it's 1st & goal, still at the 1, with 2? more shots left instead of one.

Chiefs/Broncos just got flexed to Sunday Night game in Week 12. Broncos will be 7-3 going into that game and the Chiefs will be either 8-2 or 7-3 depending on the TB game next week at Arrowhead.

time to pick up cameron meredith I guess.

No Jeffrey, Howard has a possible achilles injury, looks like Jay Cutler is gonna be slinging it from now on.

Well, you know, when the Lions are on their bye week the NFL lacks the requisite sizzle to capture the peoples' interest.

10/12/16*7:28*AM*ET

Cameron Meredith WR | CHI - Added

I'm in a 12 man PPR league. That shits been off the market for over a month.

1. Alshon is/was my 2nd rd pick.

2. I don't have Meredith.

Well on NFL, Meredith is only owned in 6.7% of leagues. Unfortunate for you I guess. Not a big deal, he's only become a viable WR3/flex option now.

Giants and Bengals both score easily on their opening drives, and then throw creativity straight out the window and it's still 7-7.

I might have to become one of those guys that just starts rooting for the Bengals to straight up go 3-12-1 just to see the end of the Marvin Lewis era. It's time for a total revamp. This isn't working. It's mediocre, and has bordered on good at times. But they have just wasted some really good talent with these 10-6 years with no playoff wins.

Butter , there are two other options.

1. You can switch over to the Cleveland Browns bandwagon.

2. A bullet.

FWIW - I'm in the 1-3% of FF team owners that have/had ALSHON and CHRISTY MICHEAL

Only change I'm interested in from him at this point is from active roster to retired-CEI.

Just another asshat making sports less enjoyable or watchable afaic.

Unsurprised. In any event, I give him props for realizing that's not a good look or an effective way to protest. He did it, almost immediately regretted it and it took balls to apologize.

Or he decided that risking endorsements wasn't his best call.

You'll have to forgive me if I'm skeptical of someone having judgement THAT bad suddenly having a flash of enlightenment that isn't merely self-serving.

Could be worse, I'm pretty much actively hoping a building falls on Pops in San Antonio, sooner than later preferrably.

Not sure what else he could say really.

"I'm gonna kneecap the punk" really has some negative p.r. connotations I think.
