Dola -
I now see Ohio State as 3-0. That is going to be bad for final standings.

I appreciate the kind words. Their was alot of luck involved too. My backup MLB had 4 picks. Their was another pick where the pass was thrown behind the reciever into a CB who was just sitting there. As far as the rolling out. I don't watch where I'm moving very often and there is only 2 instances where I intentionally rolled out (once due to my recievers being covered, once by design). I hope it was was still somewhat enjoyable of a game and didnt feel cheesy(for NCAA 09)

*Galaxy is glad Ohio State isn't on the schedule this year. Warns USC to expect the same thrashing by Notre Dame.*

I hope Ohio State makes it to the title game. I don't want a piece..I want the whole thing.

I think you and Clemson have the easiest road. Ohio State has to play a handful of RFL-controlled teams in the Big 10. Of course, they have the best roster. Georgia (KWhit) looks pretty tough as well. I just think it's way to early to tell. The BCS race will be extremely hot. Last edited by Galaxy : 08-16-2008 at 08:57 AM. |

As most would expect, Minnesota walked all over FCS West, 49-7. Really, the only play that I'd consider a "highlight" would be this one, only for the ending:

Indiana travelled to Massachusetts to take on Sir Fozzie's Boston College Eagles. Both teams had long drives for TDs on their respective first drives. Austin Starr's chipshot field goal right before the half gave us a 10-7 lead.
We took a 10-point lead in the third quarter when Senior WR Brandon Walker-Roby broke a few tackles after a strike from junior QB Kellen Lewis. I thought running through the BC Eagle was over the top though. Trailing 17-7 in the third, trouble really started for Boston College on the ensuing drive after they got pinned deep by a couple of penalties. A short while later, we cashed in on the miscue with this Kellen Lewis pass to Darius Logan that put us up 24-7. From there we looked to run some clock and secure the win, eventually prevailing 34-22. The win moves us to 3-0 heading into a bye week. Two weeks from now, we'll take on HA's Spartans in our first taste of Big Ten play. Good game, SirFozzie. Tough to overcome a 4-turnover deficit. You definitely came out on the short end in the tipped-ball drills. Good luck the rest of the way. Last edited by Kodos : 08-18-2008 at 09:27 AM. |

Heh. Stupid EA. On the EA Sports World page, I see they have it listed as Sir Fozzie playing as Indiana and us as BC. I hope the dynasty mode at least got it right... Idiots!

Hey all,
As I posted in the other thread, I'm now back home and will play my game tonight when I get home from the office.

I'm having a lot of fun too. Even if Ball State came close to beating me. I feel better since I thrashed MSU in my solo dynasty, even after my star QB went down for 9 weeks with broken ribs.

Actually it looks like KWhit, SirFozzie, and Cartman all have stuff left to do. So it seems unlikely that we will advance tonight. |

Had a nail biter against West Virginia. Won it on a last second FG where they iced my kicker.

Those iced-kicker kicks are a pain.
