RFL: Speed Up?

Just seeing how much of the league is interested in speeding up the sims. Something like a standard sim on Monday nights and Thursday nights.

I think a 4 day schedule would be good. We could set the target goal for 3 days, but 4 days would be the deadline.

My schedule is going the be kinda screwy for the next few weeks, so I can't really commit to being available during the week. Unless I can get one of those custom-built Xbox 360 laptops to take on the road with me.

I'm pretty sure I could handle this. The problem is that Thursday nights are specifically bad for me, as I'm out all day until 11:30pm ET at the earliest. I would have to play "due Thursday" games on Tuesday or Wednesday night each week. I'm certainly up for that, but I just wanted to make everyone aware that I can't finish a game on Thursday before 11:59pm hits.

That sounds workable.

There's always the friendly autopilot option.

Cast your vote.

I would be willing to give Kodos the power to have the ability to extend a deadline by a day or so if the situation arises (I wouldn't want it to happen every week with the same player or so). Say cartman was out of town until the date of the deadline, but he was able to get the game and recruiting in the next day, I would be open to allowing Kodos the ability to make the decision to grant him the extra day before moving forward. Or if it is a holiday, he could have flexibility in deadline decisions as well.

Exceptions could certainly be made if I'm given a heads up. I may be non-human, but I'm not inhuman.

The schedule wouldn't be "Monday through Thursday", correct? It would be every four days (or earlier if everyone gets done early)?

I was kicking around the idea of a standard schedule with sims on Monday and Thursday nights. But 4 days could work as well.

I must have been confused. I thought you meant the schedule for one week was from Monday to Thursday. I was a little confused as to how that would speed up things. Sorry about that. It's been a long day.

Yes. We'll start a shorter schedule after next Monday. Didn't want to implement it over the holiday weekend.

Sounds good. If we have any scheduling conflicts, we just can just send you a PM.
