IT WORKED!

Ok, we're down to 5 - trying to fill the other 3 slots. I'm hoping Detox comes back, and another person has shown interest. If you know anyone on FOFC interested, SHOW THEM HERE.

I'm giving a longer deadline so we can fill those slots, but I'm hoping we can advance earlier

EHT upset Stanford 31-19 as our HB had a huge TD off a early screen pass to get us going.

Trying to figure out when to hook up with butter - we had the dreaded disconnect. A part of me is very fearful of it happening again.

General question - Does the disconnect this year allow the player that did not get dropped to finish out against the CPU? I had this happen to me in a different dynasty and neither player got a chance to finish against the CPU. Very annoying as there was just 5 minutes left in the game and one player was willing to concede. Silly to have to replay the whole thing. Also, the commish cannot just sim it unitil the original win/loss outcome is generated.

That's what happened withs us - no chance to finish against CPU.

This could be my Kodos-like breaking point fwiw.

Yeah, I haven't seen any work around for the disconnects, and from the various threads it seems to be much more common than it should be. Very disappointing as I don't believe that was a significant problem last year. It almost makes me wonder if they cut back on the servers for NCAA to dedicate more servers for Madden's "online franchise."

I think we are about to scrap my other dynasty because of this. I don't understand why they removed the "finish against the CPU" option. If somebody had an issue with results the Commish had the ability to throw the results out.

Crazy to throw out features like that. It just makes it so much more difficult to run an online dynasty.

It really is pathetic how many problems there are with this year's game. I hung in there with 2009 through the whole year, and it wasn't exactly bug-free. But this game simply is not worth the trouble. So many game-killing issues.

This is a crazy time at work for me right now and butter and I couldn't get together the one time I have open, so I've set myself to autopilot for butter to play against the cpu and then I'll advance.

he was beating me by 2+ TDs last game when we disconnected anyways.

I checked earlier in the week and butter hadn't played..

However, the fact that no one in the league has asked what is up is a pretty bad sign to me.

On top of everything else, the inability to stay connected to the EA Servers long enough to get a game in is almost impossible to overcome.

I think the game looks better this year but it doesn't play as well. Add in all the connection issues and dynasty problems, made shelf this game for NHL.

I hope they fix some stuff, or maybe I am just getting to old for video games...

I played my game on Saturday, so I am still in if everyone thinks the patch might have a positive effect...

This week is the ABSOLUTE busiest week of the year for me. I will TRY to advance things tonight, but if not I can definitely do it by the weekend.
