That's bizarre. When I looked before rolling over to Week 2, they were the modified sliders, so I didn't touch them. So I'm just seeing them as different than you guys do.

Ready to advance.
Good win, but star RB was lost for a few weeks.
Oh well 400 yards in 2 games he can still maintain the rushing lead despite missing a few I suppose.

Kodos,

How are you making the changes and advancing? Are you doing both from your console and not on-line?

If not, try that.

If you are, then are you using your HDD or the cloud for saves? I believe you should be using your HDD to avoid glitchy issues like this.

If you are doing everything on the console and using your HDD for saves, then I'm not sure what else to suggest at this point.

I almost always advance from the Web. I will try advancing from the console. I save to my HDD.

I think I advanced from the console last time (Week 1 to Week 2). But I'm not sure.

I also wonder if advancing from in-game enabled the weekly report?

Could be. But the weekly report works well enough in NCAA 2013, and I rarely advance in game. Who knows?

We had a close one this week with Pitt.

Up 14-3 in the 2nd we were driving with a chance to put this one away early, only to throw a redzone INT.

At half the score was 21-17 FIU.

The first 5 combined scores of the 2nd half were FGs to make the score 27-26 FUI with 5 minutes remaining.

We were then able to get a stop and march down the field to score and put us up 34-26 with 2 minutes remaining.

I knew this would be too much time to give Pitt and it was as they managed to get in the endzone with 0:17 left in the game.

They went for two to tie and go into OT and thankfully we were able to break through the line and put a helmet on both the QB and the RB as it ended up being a PA pass.

Gameover, 34-32 FIU and this also gave me my Greatest Game score with a 1320.

What a game we played against Purdue.

We started with our 2nd string QB because our first string went down against UCLA and is out for at least 7 weeks.

We get 2 series into it and my 2nd string QB goes down for 5 weeks. Enter in 3rd string QB who is in the high 60's overall and I am writing this game as a loss and we promptly go down by 10.

Our defense keeps us in it and allows us into FG range and they turn around and march down the field but we hold and force a FG.

So we are down 13-3 and the QB decides he wants to be a baller and starts moving us down the field on with his arm and legs and we punch it in to go 10-13.

They move down the field and we hold again and force another FG. 10-16

Another movement down the field on our end and we kick a FG. 13-16.

We hold them and are able to kick another FG and tie up the game 16-16 and you can sense that the momentum of the game has shifted to us.

We stop them and proceed to march down the field and punch it in going up 23-16 with about a minute and a half left in the game.

They start moving the ball down the field and then the defense does what it is supposed to do, shut down and get the INT.

We have the win solidified, but I end up moving it down the field and call time out with 2 seconds left. Yes, I want to rub it in and we line up and kick a 48 yard FG!

We win it 26-16 and shock a lot of people. I don't know how I can fare well with a 3rd string QB for another 3 to 4 weeks.

Duke (B-) beat Florida St (A+) last week. So either I have a shot against FSU this week or both Duke and FSU will kill me this season. I'm guessing the latter.

Well... South Alabama (rated 68 OVR) just demolished Ole Miss (93 OVR) at their house, 24-7. Started out 7-7, they threw an INT with about 4 minutes to go in the 2nd quarter. We put together a long drive and scored with about 2 seconds left in the half, got the ball to start the 3rd and scored the next TD as well to go up 21-7, added one FG and that was that.

We ran the ball *really* well in the first half so the ball control was big. In the second half it seemed like they were playing the run heavily (run blitzing w/ the LBs a lot it seemed) so the passing game opened up a ton. No big stats on offense though, just enough sustained drives for scores.

The big stat? Ole Miss got 4 first downs all game. The game was played in the rain and they just seemed completely unable to pass most of the time.

Maybe I have a prayer of not getting auto-demoted after all.

That ended up being ugly as I expected. FSU beat us 49-21. A 0-21 deficit at the end of the first due to to us throwing 2 INTs, was just too much to recover from. It's never a good sign when your two leading tacklers are in the secondary. I even had a CB have 13! tackles. That kind of a night.

Wow, a scrappy 3rd string QB led us to an improbable win. We couldn't stop their offense...well, we did once, an 80 yd Pick Six which helped us toward the win.

The win wasn't solidified until 11 seconds to go in the 4th when I rolled to the right and let one of my WR's get open and tossed it into the end zone for the game winning TD.

So back to back nail biting wins...this team is going to give me a heart attack this season.

Weird game.
We won big, but felt like the inferior team the entire game. All of my drives took 12-15 plays...2-3 yards at a chunk.

They moved the ball in huge chunks and occasionally Id shut them down.

All in all we are glad with the win, but struggled way too much with an inferior team.

Beat Georgia State 62-14. I was ok with the easier non conference schedule b/c my conference schedule is so ridiculously hard, but I guess I shouldn't have allowed it to go through *that* easy.

Three red-zone turnovers plus a turnover deep in our own territory sealed our fate against Virginia today.

23-16 win over WKU.

This 3rd string QB is a scrapper and I like him. He isn't as fast on his release, but he has good touch. If he tries to power it, his accuracy goes down.

WKU did take away my running game and that stinks. We were able to pretty much control the LOS until I got brave and called some wild blitzes.

We beat #15 Oklahoma State 35-16 at home. I think I'm done with non-conference games so its all SEC from here. UNC is 0-3 in conference play, I'm 1-1, so the sole goal for the rest of the season is to stay ahead of them and get them demoted instead of me

Really strange deal here.

Started the game and my entire 1st string O wasnt on the field.
My 3rd string QB was starting and my 2nd string RB was starting.

Checked the depth chart and it is still right.

All the starters are listed as starters and none show injured.
Before the game my Star HB was listed as questionable.

Didnt think much of it so soldiered on and threw an ill advised pick 6.

Then a quick 3 and out and I see my defense for the first time. NONE of my starters are on the field. I have DBs on the Dline and my D line playing Safety.

I jump off sides and take the penalty to look at the D depth chart and everything looks normal here. Call a play and move on and its the ssame thing...

Anyone seen anything like this??

I had a mixed drink with dinner but not 12 of them

Starting to think I have a corrupt file or something.
We started the game, opening kickoff they retrieve and take ti out to be tackled on 5.

First play from scrimmage their QB stands int he end zone in a hand off pose until we tackle him. I literally was switching and pulling guys away trying to avoid the safety. Eventually the Safety happens. I decide I am going to take the kick and Punt it back to them on the first play to try and even it out. They punt My returner catches it and gets a few yards. Then it goes to play call screen and I am on Defense They have the ball on the 16 going in.

I did a hard console reboot if I have any more issues I am done for the night and wont be able to play again until Tuesday night/Wednesday morning.

Sorry guys.

So travel plans got cancelled this morning.
Found out my SP was having the same issues as well.

Deleted the game from HD and reinstalled and it worked until I added my custom playbook back in....really EA this shit still?

So I deleted my playbook and created a new one from scratch.

Finally got to play.

From there ughhhh.
Starting RB would go in the game despite being probable. His 2 week injury has now kept him out 4 weeks counting the bye.
2nd string RB would be injured and we would end up using a WR at RB who actually did well enough there we might consider a position switch.

Nothing in my offense would work for 3 quarters and we found ourselves down 17-3 late in the 3rd.

We had only served to slow them down all game with their 3 scores coming on drives of 18, 14, 17 plays.

Finally their O just went way too vanilla for no reason and we switched to exclusively a Nickel defense to stop their physical running game (I know its illogical...but its all that worked...I tried everything)

Eventually we found ourselves tied 17-17 with the ball with 15 seconds to go on the 13 yard line. I didnt want to leave any time on the clock after the field goal and a FB draw rumbled for a surprise TD.

Then the fireworks really started.

Kicked off to them with 10 seconds on the clock.

They run a draw on 1st and 10 from the 25 with 10 seconds to go. It nets 4 yards and a time out.

2nd and 8. 8 seconds to go.

A screen pass nets 3 yards and takes 6 seconds.

3rd and 2 and 2 seconds left.
The announcers started foreshadowing..."Its been a great game and it could get even better here with the hail mary"

So I call a dollar defense, cover 6, back the DBs up and expect the pass. Still I take the FS and run him back into the endzone...just to be sure.

Sure enough there is a pile on the 40 the SDSU WR comes out with the ball and sprints towards the goal line its one on one for the win....I do a hold X pursue and tackle and the dragging begins around the 16 yards line. Finally at the 9 another defender catches up and finishes him off to preserve the win.

Damn. What a stupid game. LOL

Also robo RB was back for the CPU...stats only show 2 broken tackles but there were many plays with more than that.

We stay undefeated.
Star RB Patrick Newby returned and we had to ride him hard.
35 carries for over 300 yards.

For some reason my QB has grown cold..He is a 95 overall 5th year senior and he was 6 of 14 with 4 picks. 3 of which came in the end zone...should have been a blow out.

We have no pass offfense and no pass defense but we keep finding a way to win.

Game is complete, with a 21 point comeback, where we RUTS against a rival.

The 3rd String QB pulled a miracle out again. I don't want to replace him next week when one of my higher rated QB's is healed, he has earned his place except he can't throw worth beans. We are where we are due to his legs and the receivers being acrobats.

I've taken two major beatings the last two weeks taking on two 99 rated offenses (Georgia and Louisville). I'm ready to drop back down to my level of competition. On a positive note, I've already had one 4 star recruit commit and another is on the verge.

Hole-E-Shit!!!
Wow.

6 overtimes. Won a game I never thought it would let me win.
We scored everytime we touched the ball (2 FGs). We stopped them 2x aall game. a fumble on their 1st drive and an INT on their last drive.

A very, very crazy game including 2 separate TDs by the CPU after shrugging off sure sacks in back to back OTs.
Had to go for 4th and 1 in the 5th OT just to score. Then failed to convert the 2. They scored right away and then tried to run a 2pt that we stoned at the goal line.

In the 6th and final OT they threw an INT on their 2nd play. The DB had 110 yards of green in front of him and a sure win. Only with no one around he dropped the ball and it lay still in the endzone. 2 separate WSU cougars dove on the ball and failed to recover it..finally the 3rd picked it up before OSU could recover.

I have a horrible K so wanted to pick up a few yards instead of kicking from the 25. On 1st down my back up RB scampered 25 yards for the TD and the win.

We could not stop their passing game. Their QB finished over 85% completions. BUT...We had over 500 yards running including 3 backs with over 100 yards.

Crazy game.
