Good luck in the Big Ten tourney and the NCAA tourney, tarcone.

Insanely fun season to watch. I can't believe Yogi is a senior about to play his final game at AH. It seems like yesterday he was starting his first game with Oladipo, Zeller, Hulls and Watford. He will go down as one of my favourite Hoosiers ever.

Very optimistic about finishing this season strong. This team has gotten alot better over the past 3 months. Go HOOSIERS!

Yeah, even the anti-Crean faction of the fanbase has been admitting he's done a good job since the Duke loss.

I'd kinda like to get another shot at the Blue Devils in the tourney.

The wheels have come off. Iowa was a potential #1 seed in the Midwest a month ago. Now we will be lucky to get a #6. And if we lose the next games, I wouldn't be surprised if the NIT was the destination.

Terrible last month. And this happening with 4 seniors and a Junior starting.
Im not sure what or who to blame.

Great season for Indiana.

0 chance Iowa is a NIT team. I know your just being a fan and i get that, but they have too strong a resume, too many good wins.

WVU locked up 2nd place in the Big 12 with a win over Baylor today and shouldn't be any worse than a 3 seed in the tournament.

Iowa wins at Michigan. Thank goodness. I hope this gets the team back on track. Winning the B1G tourney would be huge.

Tweeted this, but I feel like conference tournament week is now so confusing because these brackets try to outdo each other in their complexity. How I long for the Friday ACC quarterfinals after the Les Robinson Invitational on Thursday night.

I don't miss the Les Robinson Invitational at all.

But yeah, especially when the ACC *was* an 8 team league with quarters on Friday, it was an event. It just doesn't have that anymore when half the league is gone by Friday (or Thursday as it is now).

I get it. The league and its coaches want to give everyone a fair shot to win out and get into the NCAAs, but the whole double-bye system is stupid to me. To me, the ideal is that #1 gets a bye to the quarters, #2-4 get the three worst teams on the first day, then winners skip to the quarterfinal day, while everyone else starts on the day in between those two days. In this way, #1 can win three in three, #2-4 can win four in five (or #13-15 from a different point of view), and then everyone else from #5 down to #12 can win four in four. That seems to be a perfectly reasonable hierarchy of seeding rewards for regular season play. No, we gotta do double byes and have really bad teams play other really bad teams to kill the buzz quick in the tournament, then have all the mediocre teams beat each other up on day two with slightly better basketball, then the good teams show up when half the fans have gone home on day three. Makes perfect sense.

Coastal Carolina's season continues. They have been selected to host a 1st round game in the CIT. This is a tournament with no Power-5 teams in it, so I feel it may be the best chance for Coastal to get its first (they did win a play-in game at the NCAA's) postseason win. Everybody looks like they will be healthy too.

53-50 NC State at the half. They are doing a pretty good impression of an NBA All Star game defense.

Beating ucla might be enough to hire a coach for USC football but losing three times to usc should be enough to fire a coach at UCLA

Rutgers puts Eddie Jordan out of his misery.

He had an impossible task ahead of him with the Mike Rice fallout, but I've never seen a team have such an inability to defend and rebound.

They can afford it. That's not the issue. It's the AD thinking a coach needs 4 years to show what he can do despite a terrible trend downwards

Obligatory Michigan update after an 8/9 overtime squeaker over Northwestern. I've never seen a more "ordinary" season. No bad losses, a couple of good home wins. Most of the season without Caris LeVert, who was considered a probable lottery pick a few months ago. They finally shut him down last week.

They're 21-11 and on the wrong side of the bubble heading into a quarterfinal against Indiana, which blew them out in Ann Arbor last month. Seems like an upset is needed to reach the tournament. Not confident they're capable of making a challenge, which is why they're on the wrong side to begin with.

Might have been an impossible task, but going 2-38 in 2 seasons in the Big Ten and having some of the worst losses I've ever seen is just unimaginable.

Indications are UCLA will retain Alford. Thus cementing that the worst UCLA basketball coach in school history happens to answer to the worst AD in school history.

And, all of a sudden, a real 40-minute performance and a signature win.

Beilein says it's because they're finally adjusted to life without LeVert. I'd believe it more if they hadn't been so mediocre yesterday. What struck me is that they played pretty good defense for the first time in ages.

WVU to the Big 12 final after an amazing game with Oklahoma. Hield held to 6 points, his lowest total since November 2014 and first time in single digits this season.

Spur of the moment, decided to go to Big East final today. Good decision.

Last time I went to any BE games was the quarters two years ago, when Hall beat #1 Nova a buzzer.

I might have to reserve seats for any and all future Seton Hall/Villanova tourney games. Best 2 games I've seen in-person (and am a relative neutral).
