Who can join
Preference goes towards members who were in the league last year. Anyone else will be put on the waiting list. Sterlingice is automatically number one on the waiting list

Remember - if you're from last year, put your team name and number. I have a list of numbers on my desktop which is the draft order (no, if you pick 1, you don't pick 1st- you pick in whatever order #1 is on that list).

If you're on the waiting list, don't post a number yet.

Those who were in the league last year just scroll down to get the info on the new yahoo league url and join it. Those on the waiting list, don't join the yahoo league until I have confirmed that someone has dropped out and you can take their place.

Draft Format

The draft will take place in this thread once the league has been set up. It is a snake draft. We will start drafting ASAP, hopefully no later than March 12 .

The first pick each morning must be made by 10 am eastern time. Then the three hour clock will start for the next pick. Also, lets make the cutoff 10 pm eastern at night so if the final pick is made at 8 pm, the next person has until 10 am eastern time to make his pick. If most people in this league live in the western time zone or central time zone we could adjust this

On weekends the first pick must be made by 10 am eastern, we'll *go with a standard 3 hours with a 10 pm eastern time cut off.

If there are problems in that you know your pick is coming up but you won't be online, submit a list either to myself or to a proxy drafter for you. Otherwise, you will get the next player on Yahoo's list. Maybe pick someone who is on the opposite end of the draft from you so that you likely won't be grabbing from the same pool of players anyways.

Opening Day is Sunday April 5. If the draft is not complete by Fri April 3 at noon, we will have a quick live draft via AIM (or a program people actually use) to complete the draft on Saturday April 4 at 7pm . Anyone who won't be able to make that will need to submit a list to me, a proxy, or have a proxy in chat (who is not in the league) to finish out their team.

If you miss more than 2 picks in the draft (i.e. time limit expired so a Yahoo rankings pick), particularly in the first 10 rounds, then you can be replaced as manager.

I hate to lay down some of these rules but we're going to be drafting over 250 players so we need to get it done in a timely fashion.

Going to Killing Me Smalls are perennial all stars Tim Lincecum, David Price and the vastly underrated Eric Aybar.

Going to ALL IN are perennial all stars Adrian Gonzalez, Michael Young and the crippled Brandon Webb.

Since both teams currently qualify for the playoffs, a trade of this magnitude will be quite interesting to keep track of as the year progresses. Hopefully, it works out well for both teams.

Decided not to do the website to expedite things. Lets do a soft start for today then a 3 hour clock starting tomorrow.

Cut off for night time is ten pm eastern. All picks must be made my 10 am eastern during the week and noon eastern for the weekend.

I now live in Asia so more than likely I won't be able to help people out if they are going to miss picks. Hopefully people can volunteer to help each other out. If you miss your deadline you get the top guy listed even if that guy has been dead for the past 50 years. The computer team will automatically get the top guy listed and anybody can make the pick for the computer team to speed things along. I think that's it...if I forgot anything please let me know.

Draft Pauses Draft pauses automatically put your draft clock on hold at specified times, but allow managers to continue to make pick selections. You can set separate daily (or nightly) and weekend draft pauses. Any Draft Order Draftime Fantasy Sports Manager supports every type of draft order. The typical "Snake Rounds" and "Pro-Style Rounds" are available, as well as full custom rounds, which allows any combination of any number of picks for any number of rounds. Player Pre-Rankings Every manager can pre-rank every player in the database by sport. The pre-rankings can be copied into player queues for every draft the manager participates in and then adjusted based on the manager's strategy for the draft. Player Queues Managers can set an overall player queue, to be used for any pick in a draft, or a pick-specific queue for complete flexibility. Auto-Picking Managers can set a player queue, turn on auto-picking, and Draftime Fantasy Sports Draft Manager will make the pick for them. An auto-pick delay gives managers time to check in and make the pick, but ensures they don't miss the pick if too much time passes. Draft Trades Draftime Fantasy Sports Draft manager allows managers to trade picks, players, or both. Trades can be uneven -- if a manager wants to trade five picks for one player, Draftime allows for it -- and multi-manager trades are supported as well. Email Notifications Every manager receives an email when it's their turn to pick. Managers can receive the most recent picks made in their notification email and can also receive an email when they're "on deck". Secondary email addresses allow managers to receive a copy of all emails at other email accounts. Draft Grid The draft grid groups every pick made by manager and position. Quickly see draft trends and manager position deficiencies and adjust your draft strategy accordingly. Draft Peek See how other drafts are progressing by viewing every pick made in all the Draftime public drafts. Get instant updates in your preferred feed reader by subscribing to a draft's RSS feed. Average Draft Picks See where players are being selected across all the Draftime drafts. Also get information about the highest and lowest draft positions for every player selected. Keeper Players Keeper leagues can assign keeper players to managers with Draftime Fantasy Sports Draft Manager. You can have standard keeper players, keepers that are assigned to a specific pick, or both! Supplemental Picks Just like real sports drafts, Draftime Fantasy Sports Draft Manager allows for the addition of supplemental picks wherever you need them in your draft. Cut off for night time is ten pm eastern. All picks must be made my 10 am eastern during the week and noon eastern for the weekend. Please format your picks like so: 1.1 Frank Thomas 1b Chi ALL IN I now live in Asia so more than likely I won't be able to help people out if they are going to miss picks. Hopefully people can volunteer to help each other out. If you miss your deadline you get the top guy listed even if that guy has been dead for the past 50 years. The computer team will automatically get the top guy listed and anybody can make the pick for the computer team to speed things along. I think that's it...if I forgot anything please let me know.
