You aren't holding up anything. Cartman and I still need to play. We have a blizzard heading this way, so not sure if I will have power or not... If i do, I can play Friday night or Sunday night. Monday, I am available throughout the day as I am off.

Well, that was simply embarrassing. I couldn't stop him at all on defense, and my offense gave their defense more scores than we got. A humiliating 63-7 defeat.

We are going to miss Stover who plays more above his ratings than any player I've ever had. He was all over the field with key stops, sacks, and a nice pick 6. Excited to see what Thurman will do next year as the undisputed starter at QB. He had a great game today as he was nearly perfect.

we had a very promising mobile FR QB decide to transfer to WSU for playing time

Also, lost a young WR due to PT. However, we convinced of our best DB's to stay one more year.

I'm very unhappy. Two underclassmen that would have been starters for me next season left because they wanted playing time. I promised them all the PT they could handle, but the punks left anyway. Apparently starting at Louisiana-Lafayette in the crap conference is better than starting for Duke in the SEC. Obviously they are neither smart enough nor tough enough to make it in the big time. Good riddance.

The DT is particularly galling because the promises it allows you to make are simply absurd. 5, 10 or 15 sacks? 20, 35 or 50 tackles? For a DT? Really?

My DT's averaged between 5 - 10 sacks because I always brought my pressure from the outside and forced the QB to move up into the pocket and they were usually there waiting for him...the tackles # I don't think they came close to.

The playing time promises bits always seem to revolve around stats and not actual playing time. I had a WR I had promised "playing time" to back in NCAA12, and it ended up translating into receptions. Well, idiot, you want receptions, it's your job to get open!

We're done. 71-rated Freshman punter from Wisconsin wants to transfer in, likely because his mother down in Miami is sick. We have a Redshirt Sophomore punter rated 73 who is slightly better, but our 85-rated kicker is probably going to get all the snaps. We'll decide which punter to keep come roster cut-down time, might keep the new guy just because he is younger with more room to grow.
