LOL. One of the reasons I am sans headset is because the surround sound will be very low so I don't wake my wife or daughter from sleeping.

Funny thing, EF27: When we played our game, I think your Kinect must have been picking up a conversation you were having with your wife. Because I definitely heard a female voice multiple times during the game. Couldn't make out what was being said.

I'm in the no headset crowd. I don't want conversation distracting me from the game. If I want that, my daughter is happy to provide the distraction in person.

Lol. Now, that I think back. I think Anne was up and chatting with me while we played.

My receivers were absolutely smothered by Greg's secondary all day. I made a mistake of passing on an early FG and Greg just kept chipping away with FG's. We were down 12-0 late in the 4th before our defense managed to get our only score of the game on a fumble recovery 55 yard TD. Greg iced it with a FG to make it 15-7 with little time left. We tried to march down the field for a miracle comeback, but Greg got yet another pick. He picked off Thurman 6 times in a game that his defense completely dominated. Good game, Greg.

That was a great game. To give folks an idea of the type of slugfest it was, the play of the game was a strip-sack of his QB at the 4 (we could not punch it in, settled for a FG), and the player of the game was my kicker, who went 5-5 including a few long ones.

But as EaglesFan said, the real key was my secondary not giving his receivers much space, leading to the bunch of picks and a few passes knocked down. The FGs and picks let us go conservative on offense late, although that didn't stop the fumble return for a TD that made it very interesting.

Great championship game, had me on my toes the whole time keeping up with EF27's adjustments, but we got the bounces with the picks for the win.

Site shows me as not ready, not sure why, but I am ready to advance. Looks like we're just waiting on Kodos' bowl game.

Not sure if this team will be up here again next year - we move up to a tougher conference, and I have many key seniors graduating, including both QBs. I'll definitely need to take advantage of this early in the recruiting season...

I'm hoping we can get somewhere after our promotion. The Big 12 was a shit fest this year aside from UTSA.

I think there will be a lot more human vs human match ups in the coming year, so that is exciting.

We won our game with ASU, and I've advanced to EOS. I still need to record some things for the Ladder Almanac, so we're on hold for a short time. Stuff is up on the site if you want to look around.

I am excited, it looks like we move up to the Big East that will be a challenge for us.

But finishing 18th with 2 losses isn't bad. Ready for the new challenge!

Gonna be a new look next year. Three of my seniors are projected to go in the first round. Only two underclassmen wanted to transfer, both freshmen. The WR wouldn't even give me the chance to convince him to stay. Luckily I'm loaded at that position. The safety took some convincing, but on the 3rd promise, he decided to come back.

We lost some valuable players (including a S projected to go in the 1st round) but Thurman is staying to try to repeat the Heisman in his senior year. We also managed to convince our JR star LB to stay 1 more year.

Convinced my 87-rated DE who tried to leave early to become a 3rd round pick to stay, that was nice.

Disappointed at the lack of draft action for my seniors, especially CB Concepcion with his stats. 2 3rds and a 5th. If I had started Oliver all season, we could have kept the national championship and got him drafted, but alas.

I convinced all three rising seniors not to declare for the draft, but I lost my prized MLB recruit from last year. He would have gotten a lot of playing time for me next season, but he wasn't going to start until his junior year, most likely, so it is tough to blame him for going.

I'm surprised that my QB didn't even consider declaring for the draft. I thought he surely would. He's got a 93 rating overall and had a great season. I'm sure he would have been a 1st round pick had he gone.

I'm ticked off. The best physical CB I've ever brought in in terms of speed/acceleration is leaving after I redshirted him. His awareness was only 55, so I thought he could use a year of seasoning. Won't even let me try to convince him. Hey Asshole--you were in line to be on the field all of the time this season. Punk.

I logged onto the game (because I thought we might have advanced) and the game says my star JR LB is leaving and that I failed to convince him. I'm sure the website said I convinced him to stay... will be interesting to see the final result.

Same with the DE I convinced on the site - he's gone now. Teach me to do anything on the website anymore, it's starting to suffer from regressions and lack of maintenance.

Just an FYI here.

I think most know this, but the way a couple have referenced not being able to make a promise I wanted to throw it out there for the benefit of all.

If you make 3 promises to a recruit you can not make a promise in the future to convince them to stay. You basically get 3 promises total. Use them in recruiting or in staying your choice.
