Tennessee bouncing back from the tough loss at A&M, or will everything fall apart?

Nebraska on HIGH upset alert @ Indiana. Their defense is no joke this year.

Stanford - Notre Dame in the Disappointment Bowl.

Ohio State plays Wisconsin for the first time since OSU's 59-0 win on Ohio State's improbable run to the first CFP Championship.

I would love to see Nebraska go down to Indiana. A friend of mine a huge Husker fan and was relentless making fun of me when Missouri lost to Indiana a few years ago.

I think a lot of fellow SEC teams will be pulling for Mizzou after Florida drug their feet and cancelled their game against LSU with no plan for rescheduling it. They could get into the SEC title game at 6-1 and Tennessee at a likely 6-2. The problem is Missouri has no chance in hell of winning the game.

Coastal Carolina returns to play, maybe, this week. They travel to Gardner-Webb, which is to the west of Charlotte, so not sure how much they are still affected by Matthew. Hopefully they will have an easier time then they did against Charleston Southern.

Here's hoping IU can upset Nebraska and give Kevin Wilson more recruiting ammo.

And here is a piece of trivia: Indiana has a 9-7-3 advantage in the series against Nebraska.

GW is just outside Shelby, NC
About 20 miles from my house. They got some rain. That's about it.

Rutgers gets a break from playing top 5 teams and hosts Illinois. Time to see if our QBs can complete a pass (I think we have 4 completions in the last 2 games).

On Thursday, the SEC announced LSU would be playing Florida on Nov. 19, but the game will be moved to Baton Rouge instead of Gainesville. This keeps LSU from playing three straight road games in 12 days. In return, LSU will travel to Gainesville for games in both 2017 and 2018.

Damn. Stole my post. Was gonna write, Maybe Rutgers can score a point this week.

I do think it is winnable, but at some point Rutgers has to get some kind of decent QB play. Law of averages.

I don't see Tennessee losing to this years Missouri team but Jones is a shitty coach so who knows.

Iowa is in danger this weekend again. Offense is in the crapper. Luckily the defense stepped up last weekend. May not be the case this week.
This may be our last "for sure: win. Better jump on it.

I think we can take Mississippi State tonight. I do think it will be a tougher game then everyone has painted it out to be.

We are beat up on the D, Our O is relatively healthy without missing much.

I will be there cheering.

This is a bad, quite likely VERY bad, Mississippi State team.
If you don't win this one by at least two scores, be concerned.
17-21 would be about right I believe, and that's with just average performances.

Boneheaded penalty by the Duke player on the roughing the kicker call.

Poor call by the refs. That was not roughing the kicker. Running into at best.

If you hit a kicker full on his plant leg, they will call roughing nearly every time.

He hit his right leg, while it was back on the ground. His left leg is his plant leg.

28-21 in Double OT.

I will take that win. Our Offense just wasn't clicking all game, it was ugly..very ugly.

We have a way of making big, athletic mobile QB's look like all stars and we did that.

To be 4-3 with our schedule right now, is shocking to me. We were initially picked to go 1-6

I don't think Georgias punt returner realizes he's allowed to catch the ball. He's given up about 70 yards in field position so far by just letting it roll.

Then again, they averaged only 2 ypc against that vaunted Vandy defense all day on the ground.

NC State just missed a FG to upset Clemson. Not sure what the hell they were doing trying to throw the ball, took a sack and made the FG 5-10 yards longer than if they had just run the ball.

Well not much easier, Coastal was losing 7-3 in the 3rd, but then came back to win 17-7.

In hindsight, I'm not sure what they coulda/shoulda there. They were 35 carries for 75 yards all day.

Take away the three long runs of the day (13, 10, 10) and they averaged barely more than a yard per carry. It was probably 50-50 if they pound it inside with Chubb but that's more an indictment of the OL than of the playcalling.

At the half, Bama has three players with more yards rushing than the Vols have total offense (41 yards). And yet it's still only 21-7 Bama.

OSU looking very rusty still, carrying over from last week. Danger of dropping down big to start the 2nd half with Wisc driving and getting the ball to start the 2nd.

Receivers aren't getting open for OSU at all and not helping Barret and I'm worried from watching the throws last week that something might be off with him as he hasn't led his receivers well last week and this week and that is something he has done rather well throughout his career. If OSU cannot complete a decent long ball tonight, it'll be a wrap. Be interesting to see how the young bunch handles this adversity that I knew was going to come at some point this season.

Wisconsin slowing down OSU early is not a huge surprise. A good defense, playing at home, Indiana had some success early last week, etc. What's surprising me is Wisconsin moving the ball this well -- over 300 yards already, more than the Buckeyes have given up to anyone besides Oklahoma for an entire game. If that keeps up and the Badgers don't turn it over, I think OSU's got a big hill to climb. Big ifs.

You don't have to buy it tarcone, but it is still for sale. And I have probably watched as much if not more OSU football than anyone on this board to have a pretty good opinion on the matter.

I didn't say Wisc wasn't good as I believe they are. But OSU is still not moving the ball well and something is up with the passing game and that IS a carry over from last week, and I think there is something up there.

Agreed. A good D at home that had 2 weeks to prepare. But you have to be able to throw the ball well and the receivers weren't getting open last week nor this week and Barrett is just off. That isn't hard to see. Not sure what others are seeing, but I have watched every game of Barrett's career and he is off this week and last. It would also help if the receivers did give him some help, but yeah, he is off and I am as big a fan of his as anyone and preached for him from his 2nd game 3 years ago.

OSU needs a good stop/turnover on this first possession and needs to get a deep ball completion. Just one.

Since I am being downvoted, I'll dismiss the 'rusty' term, but they are not clicking this week nor last.

Is that better?
