Kindle Version of a Book I Co-Authored Out
Thought you guys might be interested to know that a book I was co-author on is out on Kindle (with hardback and *maybe* paperback versions coming at some point:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NAN5MWD..._mfgBybQH2A7QK It was a very interesting journey - taking the raw material of what he'd produced, leaving the order of scenes and the dialogue untouched (though the Prologue didn't appear until after my part of the project was done, so I take no responsibility for that  ), and yet shaping it to be its best possible self while staying true to the original author's voice. It was a rewrite project that I busted my ass on, and though I didn't have say over the final edits, I'm pleased with the reaction it's getting so far.I haven't read through it yet myself to see how the final version compares to my edits in total, but I know the first line of Chapter 1 is mine, which makes me smile. It's also a story I believed very strongly was worth telling, so when he approached me to be the co-author, after I read the first draft, I agreed and signed on. Those of you who have watched The Wolf of Wall Street will be particularly interested in this, I think, as it provides insight to what it was really like to work at Stratton Oakmont. (Oh, and my co-author credit appears in About the Author - with a slight factual error, but one I didn't discover until too late)
