The Pyramid 2017 - Conference Championships

Finally we are in the pre-season fellas.

HUMAN VS HUMAN games:

Texas State AT Wyoming, Week 12.

That's the only one on the list.

Only a 14 week season this season, so we will each only have 2 open weeks.

Let me know who you want to play, and go ahead and set your recruiting boards and redshirts.

Let's get it rollin!

FAU will take Florida International, if available. FSU, USF, UCF, and Georgia Tech are all good options.

FYI I am probably going to need until Wednesday evening to finish this.

Would like Washington, Colorado and Texas on the schedule if possible.

Also a home game in week 8 or 9 if possible and no game week 1

Thx

We're moving on to week 1 soon!

FYI: I will be moving the remaining stuff left at my current apartment to a new place in a few weeks, things should get considerably easier to keep on schedule for me then. I often find that if I have the time it would take to run a sim, normally I am handling something at the new apartment and then I end up pushing things back. Soon I won't have to do that.

this is going to be an intersting season.

Wise is pushing the much higher OVR rated incumbent start QB.

We bogged down with our 3 year starter and wise brought a spark.

LSU's offense was unstoppable for us in the first half. Their QB completed his first 20 passes, and their RB was picking up big chunks on every run. Trailing 24-14, our defense got themselves together in the second half and started causing incompletions and punts. Trailing 30-28, with 47 seconds left and one timeout in the 4th, we were able to drive to the Tiger's thirteen and kick the game-winning 30-yard field goal (which was hooking toward the right goalpost but made it in by a foot or two). Didn't think we had a chance after that first half! 31-30 win for the Owls at LSU.

Everyone is done and we are ready to advance.

Lost to Missouri...

My team was bouncing off their QB and RB like they were superman. We made a game out of it until the end when my starting QB went down and I couldn't do anything.

I don't think I have sworn as much as I did at a game then the one against Tulsa. My team sucks at Tackling...they bounce off guys and can't make a play.

Needless to say we were up by 4 with 30 seconds left. We kick off, they return it. The next play is a 62 yard TD where my CBs and FS bounced off the receiver.

They take the lead by 3. We get the ball, return it with a solid return and have great field position. 20 seconds left, we throw deep 31 yards, but just outside of FG range.

We pass, hit the out route in FG position and are unable to get out and have 8 seconds to get to the line and snap it and spike or go for the win, which is more than enough time in this game...except it decided to pan to a reply type screen and tick of the last 8 seconds so I couldn't do a damn thing!

The controller flew across the room and I was cussing up a storm to where my GF was wondering what was wrong with me.

This is going to be a "fun" season it looks like.

Second play from scrimmage my RB took a dive 88 yards up the middle for a TD. He was tired the rest of the game. Never playing above "yellow". Even after the half.

I again went to the back up QB when my starter wasnt getting it done. The whole team had that "playing in quicksand" look. Where running holes were open but the player couldnt get there. I made the switch and the light came on and right down the field we went.

But still we couldnt ever catch the Huskies. Finally took the lead on a late FG to go up 31-28. Threw a bomb as time ran out (4th down, scared to punt. They called TO with 5 seconds left and I knew we'd fumble so I ran the QB around and then heaved it up hail mary style) and got a cheap TD but it was never that close.

Chasing a STUD and there were 2 of us on him tied at the top and I offered and he insta-committed.

Twas a good day.

I wont reveal who so he can waste his points there this week

Now on to Alabama and their 99 OVR 99 O 99 D Tide

Ok this is weird.
There is a 79 DT that UTEP and I were battling for.
We were trailing by 10 points last week when I scheduled a visit and then offered and upon the offer he committed on the spot. I was shocked because I was 10 points back and Ive never seen a committ that you arent leading outright for. I chalked it up to the visit schedule must have given a bonus to take lead and it must be calculated behind the scenes instantly.

Well download this week and...it shows he is committed to UTEP.
WTF

Weird. I wonder if he insta-committed to UTEP in the same week, but UTEP got him because they had a small lead maybe?
