Any FOFC poll without a trout option loses all credibility.

I assume this occurred as he tried to chase Jesse Owens out of the stadium?

I can promise you I would not root for Vick or Roethlisberger if they were on my team. Just like JeeberD didn't root for TO when he was on the Cowboys. |

C'mon Pumpy, you know there's gotta be some comparative reference to their actions versus those of NBA players somewhere.

I dunno. I'm all on the Vick bandwagon now. I realize what he did was reprehensible, but you hear about these random pit bulls killing their owners, or their owners kids, and I feel a little less bad. Also, he was raised poorly. Just look at his brother. I voted "no distinction", just because Big Ben is such a dick.

I haven't seen this much of Pumpy since I watched "Submissive Boys with No Limits" last Friday.

Happy ending for most of Vick's dogs - NFL - Yahoo! Sports None of that thanks to Vick, of course, but 'random' pit bulls probably aren't 'randomly' attacking people. Pits who have been trained and socialized that way, almost certainly. But apparently even the dogs Vick abused, most of them have been rehab-capable, and one of the sweetest dogs I ever knew was a dachsund/pit mix. When her owners' children were small - we're talking toddler age - she used to bear their ear-pulling and nose-biting without complaint. An old neighbor of mine used to have this absolutely massive Rott who was just incredibly easygoing. Other side of the coin, one of the meanest damn dogs I ever knew was my cousin's black lab, and that breed is normally pretty friendly and easygoing. Aggression might be a dominant trait in some breeds more than others, but it's not a foregone conclusion. |
