You missed something.

He will be graduating from Oregon. And he has one year of eligibility left. If you go to another school as a grad student, you dont have to sit out.

That's true only if the degree program of the school you are going to isn't offered by your current school.

Reflective sunglasses? Really, Lane?

Picky, sure, but seriously, who does this? "I'm going to the Pac 10 Media Day and I am going to wear sunglasses inside the whole time."

I just laugh, because every time I look up, it seems like the guy is doing something weird.

The Pac-10 Media Day was held on the turf of the Rose Bowl. From the photos I saw, there was a tent with no sides set up. Now, chances are the tent was long enough that even without sides, Kiffin wasn't getting hit with direct sunlight, but maybe there was light reflecting in his eyes.

If had been truly an indoor setting, then I'd be in full agreement with you. But in this case, I'm willing to cut him a little bit of slack.

Oh, as a final addendum to a discussion we all had at length in last year's thread, circa January:

Norm Chow has signed a two year extension with UCLA.

We had work drinks last night and I was talking to a contractor who I hadn't met before. Turns out he was the kicker for Ole Miss and apparently he and his family were in the Blind Side book on Michael Orr as well, as one of the families who tried to adopt him. Very random.

35 days until Iowa kicks off. Im crossing my fingers that I havce 4 tickets.

Iowa won its first bowl game, The 1957 Rose Bowl, over Oregon State, 35-19.

Thought this was pretty neat. Some vintage footage from 1928 MU-KU game. Had the gymnastic team performing, a band, and evidently the cross country race finished in the stadium during halftime.

lol...way to go, Bug. Poke a stick at the monster that is Texas with our picked for eighth place in the Pac 10 team--and on the road, to boot.

I would keep typing, but I think the doorbell just rang. It's probably karma coming to kick our ass.

I feel 100% confident in making the statement that UCLA will not perform a repeat of their 66-3 win last time they visited Austin. I might be going out on a limb with that prediction, but so be it.

The only good thing to come out that game from a Longhorn perspective was that it marked the beginning of the end of the John Mackovic era.

Missouri plays one Big10 team (Illinois). So, unless they tie, Missouri will be either winless or undefeated in the Big10.

Looks like Notre Dame and Texas are close to agreeing to a 4 game series starting in 2015. No word yet if it will be a home and home arrangement or at a neutral site.

Would Texas consider doing a 2(ND home)/1 (UT home)/1 (neutral) if the "neutral" site was Jerry's World? Or even New Orleans if the site has to be out of the B12's footprint (I remember that being why the ND-WSU game was in San Antonio - the TV rights to any game in the Pac-10 coverage area would fall under their TV contract instead of going to NBC.)

Either way, I don't know if Brian Kelly has anything to do with it, or it's just pushback from alumni to the AD about playing non-BCS schools at home, but I'm loving the new arrangements. Miami, Michigan, rumors of Oklahoma and Texas. No more Western Michigan's and San Jose State's at home.

Marshall dismisses 3 of it's incoming freshmen for robbing 2 pizza delivery men on campus. One of the players, Fred Pickett, is a Pahokee kid and another, Antwan Chisholm, already has a felony on his record.

wtf? they robbed a pizza delivery guy? first of all, if they were robbing him for money they truly are idiots. well thats obvious already because they committed a robbery, but these delivery guys only carry like 20 dollars in change lmao. 2nd of all , if they weren't robbing him for money, they must be broke ass freshman that were really hungry, and probably stoned. lol . Hope that pizza was worth jeopardizing your future for. How the fuck does robbing a pizza guy even make sense. geez.

HS? It's Pahokee HS in Florida, about the poorest and most educationally (and technologically) backward part of that state, possibly even the entire south. That's the everglades region where ridiculous amounts of D1/NFL players come from, and they're almost always getting into trouble.

Getting into Marshall? They're D1(-ish) football players - it's not like they were on academic scholarships. And even at very good schools like UCLA, Michigan and Texas (and pretty much every other one I'm sure) we've seen football players getting caught for retarded robberies.

It depends on how busy the place is, if the delivery person couldn't find a few minutes to do a cash drop in between runs it's possible that the person could have a few hundred dollars on them.

Some more entertainment from the Pizza robbery; the 3rd guy, Mike Fleurizard, is the only one of the 3 charged so far (charges pending on the other 2 as they sort things out) and his facebook status at the time of his arrest stated "hustler- full time go getta- i get money".

From the 2 robberies they made off with a whopping $290.

The Pahokee Kids at UM haven't had any issues. Obviously history shows it is possible, but they are amongst the hardest workers and never in danger of qualifying.

Noticed you left out the part where both stadiums will require an expansion to hold the overinflated egos of both fan bases.

All time wins in football list:

1. Michigan
2. Texas
3. Notre Dame

.
.
.
41. Missouri

No wonder you have a pile of rocks in one endzone.
