Realy fired up for this weekend.

Work until 1:00 on Friday, Apple Cup at 3:30 plus the Civil War later that night. Lots of other fun games.

The wife is taking the kids to her folks in NJ for Thanksgiving and I have to work Friday so I can't go, and while I will miss them, I am looking forward to lots of football time with the dog.

This is as good as it gets. Auburn vs. Alabama for one spot in the SEC Championship. Mizzou playing at home against A&M on Senior Day trying to nail down the other spot. Great weekend in the SEC.

My mom just told me that they picked up tickets for Saturday's game. May swipe those off her bedside table this week when she's not looking.

Season is already over. Just hope we can beat Purdue to preserve something positive from this season.

Kodos, it pains me to say this, but I doubt you really need to hope you can beat us. I think if you guys simply make it to the stadium (or if at least 11 drunken alumni tailgaters show up) then it's a foregone conclusion that you win. What a rough year.

Good Clean Old Fashioned Hate renews on The Flats as GT hosts UGA.
Alas, I don't believe a backup QB making his first start is going to be enough to allow Tech to close the talent gap.

As always, looking forward to the showdown at the Coliseum and hopefully to bouncing back from the ASU loss by retaining the Victory Bell. Go Bruins!

I understand the frustration, but I find the recent list of OCs in Westwood to be a compelling argument to not be overly upset with Mazzone. He is by far better than any OC we have had since Toledo was HC.

All that said, I do have confidence that Mora can make a really good hire for the position if it becomes open.

Carlos Hyde only needs 936 yards to hit 2000. I think he gets halfway there this Saturday against Michigan.

How dare you not list "The Game." Oh right, OSU is going murder Michigan because it's Michigan and Meyer is hellbent on getting to the title game based on style points. There genuinely is not a lick of hope for Michigan in this game. Michigan has yet to show signs of improvement, only seem to be regressing from a not that high standard, and OSU clicking as well as it has all year. I think OSU hitting 40+ is aiming low.

Well I guess we can hope. I think Mizzou and A&M will be a good game. I still am having a hard time buying that Auburn will stay anywhere close to bama however.

That Gardner is not good. Slow release, no anticipation, not accurate. I suppose he is a decent enough runner but it doesnt make up for all of his flaws as a qb. I dont understand why Toussiant seems to be taking the blame for the offense struggling either. I realize Michigan fans havent exactly thought much of his performance this year but to not play him 2 weeks ago seemed a bit extreme.

Cuse hosts Boston College with bowl eligiblity on the line for Cuse. They don't particularly deserve a bowl game even at 6-6, but considering we have a new head coach, OC and DC, our QB and LT from last year are on the New York Giants, it is a pretty major rebuild year, so I think every Cuse fan would have signed up for 6-6 and a bowl at the start of the year. 5-7 will be a bit disappointing, but the recruiting is looking up.

Iowa travels to Nebraska Friday. Huge game for both schools. Looks like a trip to the Outback bowl or Gator bowl depending on how many B1G teams go to a BCS game.
We could win this game and need too.

I think OSU puts up 56 against Michigan.
Alabama rolls.
Mizzou wins by 14.
Not sure why Stanford and ND are upt here. Stanford big.
South Carolina should win. But not sure which of either team will show up.
I think USC wins this one.

He was out due to injury according to Hoke. The OL has been getting much of the hate versus Toussiant. Gardner isn't a QB. He's an athlete playing that position.

Enough with all these "no-name" teams! Coastal Carolina just missed out on one of the eight playoff spots and a bye in the FCS playoffs and thus will be playing this week in the first round at home against Bethune-Cookman...which is who they beat last year in the first round on the road. Winner gets #8 Montana.

Badgers get Penn St in what should be a comfortable win for Wisconsin. This will also likely lock up our spot in the top 14 and give us a shot at a BCS bid if OSU can beat MSU in two weeks.

No clue how Clemson - SC will go.
I cant ever remember a game when I had less idea of what to expect.

I think Clemson is definitely the more complete team, but their holes are in places the Gamecocks can exploit. Being in the cockroach at night adds an extra dimension as well

Hauck gets a three year extension to 2016 based on this season. I know it's been a great year, including finally beating Reno, but I'm still skeptical of this as a one season flash in the pan. We'll see, though.

Fyi, there have been 83 points and 967 yards in Fresno State/San Jose State. 3 WR's have at least 139 yards, 2 more have 80+. The QB's are a combined 47/58 766 12 td's. And it's not even halftime.

Nice to bring the apple cup back to Seattle. He was a little rough last year but it has been a joy watching Keith Price play qb the last 4 years. His love for the game is refreshing. I think we are in good hands moving forward wih Miles and the defense continues to improve. Inthink Wazzou is also headed in the right direction.

True on the non-conference thing but saying there is no difference just isn't true. The amount of WTF coaching moments have been drastically reduced along with the general douchiness of Bielema being gone.

The non-conference thing should play out the next few years.

I guess I posted om the wrong thread.

Iowa dominates Nebraska. We get the Outback bowl unless they only take one B1G to the BCS bowls. If not Gator here we comes.

38-17 blow out at Nebraska. Bo Pelini sucks. Fire him. Even if it costs 7.65 million.

Fresno State losing really hurts. Now we *have* to win against SDSU tomorrow to get to a bowl game, because right now 8 MWC teams are bowl-eligible, so Wyoming has to lose to Utah State, and Air Force has to somehow upset Colorado State to knock the bowl-eligible teams down to 7. Otherwise if both games go the other way, we have as many as 9 MWC teams bowl eligible.

That was a stressful game. Credit to WSU for playing good defense for the 1st half. And boo to the refs for a series of bad calls that greatly assisted on the two Cougar TD drives. Terrific response by the Dawgs in the 2nd half to take back control of the game, and what more can be said about Bishop Sankey? It's hard to imagine the luck we've had in having Chris Polk who made a pretty argument towards being considered the best UW RB ever, only to be followed by Sankey who is putting together an even better argument.

And man, I'm going to miss Keith Price. He's physically limited and probably doesn't have much of an NFL future, but he's been an absolute joy to root for, and it's been really gratifying to watch how he's bounced back this year from a tough Junior year. Terrific kid who should be a success in life no matter what career path he takes.

Pelini was an ass today. There was call on the Iowa sideline he didnt agree with. It was a PI for 15 yards. He swung his hat at the ref. Almost hit him in the face. 15 more yards for Iowa. And he was a jerk during the half time interview. He is begging to be fired. Guess he wants his $7.65 million buy out.
