Andy Dalton's pregame talk sounded like the least convincing thing I've ever heard.

Pretty low scoring affair into the 3rd, I think that would favor the offense-challenged Bengals.

Even so, if Dalton could make half these throws that an average NFL QB should be able to make, this game would be interesting.

As it is the Colts are about ready to blow this open.

I don't know if I've ever seen an NFL team with less fight in it than the Bengals.

To be fair, they just have too many injuries. They have no one to throw to and their best two players on defense are wither out or still recovering from injury.

That being said, they are the same old Bengals.

To be fair they are about to lose their fourth fucking playoff game in a row looking about the same as they have in the other three: completely useless.

This one doesn't bother me as much as the first three. They just have nobody to throw to today. They are missing their top two receivers and top two tight ends. Outside of Tom Brady, not many QBs can overcome that.

I just don't think they had a good chance today, unlike the previous three games when they should have been much better.

+1. I'm not nearly as angry or sad as I have been in past years. That might be more of a product of frankly just having given up on Andy this year, though.

At the game and I will say Luck is impressing me with his poise. No forcing the issue. He's going through his progressions. Even though Boom has run well, his inabilitiy to hold on to the ball has to cost this team later.

Bengals are just lethargic. Their fans are even just shaking their heads at this point.

Edit for fat fingers on a phone.

I don't know where Andy is supposed to go with the ball when none of the receivers get any separation at all. Defensively, this team is not scary at all, they cannot rush the passer to save their lives. They went from being one of the best pass rushing teams in the league last year to being the worst this year, and that is probably the biggest reason this game and season were so ugly.

Yesh, you can tell he misses Green. No one else is scaring the Colts' DBs. He's at less than 5 yards an attempt. Just a pathetic offensive display, although they abandoned the run more than I thought. Only 19 team carries. You can run outside on this Colts team.

I see the NFL money grubbers eyes have lit up.
They will get a favorable matchup between the Colts/Broncos.

They can never have enough money to hoard away.

Combination of a really mediocre QB, and no receivers - but how are you not game planning around the run in that situation? Bernard and Hill were one of the better running combos in the league and you let Dalton air it out again and again to a bunch of no names? I wonder if they were expecting Green to play but still, seems like an awful game plan on the road in the playoffs

I'm a Lion fan today. Nice to see them up 7-0 early. Hope to see Romo, 'Romo it up' this evening!

Joique Bell, lived on campus while I was working at Wayne, so I met him a bit, not much, not like massive conversations of depth and quality or anything, but he's a nice guy. Local kid done good, you know?

For me, it's the annual time for 1/2 of that. Marvin Lewis simply has to go. He is not a good enough coach. Like others have said, this loss doesn't surprise me given the guys who were injured but someone has to take the blame at some point. Ten years now, two different QB-WR-RB combinations with talent, decent defensive talent, good offensive lines, different coordinators on both sides of the ball...same old same old. Only one constant in it.

Could be a risk and yes they could go backwards but nevertheless, just don't see them ever putting it together with Lewis at the helm. Great motivator, great guy, but just not a great coach.

Lions in danger of a historic win. Hopefully it's not time for the return of the 'five-play punt' or, the 'Favre can't throw it that far' strategy, or some similar nonsense.
