Let me know if there are certain teams you'd like me to try to get on your OOC schedule.

Well, I'm gonna redshirt the RB.. So I'll wait til next season to go for the glory. This year I would like some teams like Illinois, South Florida, FAU, Indiana, Houston, Oregon State, Penn State, Pitt.. Those kinds of middling big time schools and high end smaller schools. Definitely want to assert my dominance in Florida to a degree, so 2 Florida opponents would be cool. Other than that I want my home games around midseason (week 7-9 ish) and my away games to start and end the year.

Not real strict on this, just use your best judgement and give me something like a B to B+ schedule. Next year I am going for all top 10's.

I'd like middle level teams, nothing in the top 25. Thanks.

I'm not ready to advance. Still finishing my recruiting board. Will finish up tonight.

For the OOC schedule, below are some good options.:

Notre Dame
Ohio
Vanderbilt
Mississippi State
USF
Georgia State

I'm pretty sure that's cheating. If Gramm gets to come Ted his recruiting board I demand the same privileges.

I tried to work on schedules and redshirts last night, but Comcrap wasn't working very well, and I kept losing my connection.

Arrow Week 1 - Deadline is 12/17 (Sat) at 11 p.m. EST

We're on to Week 1. I apologize upfront for the schedules. The game is not good at generating realistic schedules. Asheville's conference schedule is all at the beginning of the season. Outer Banks is all at the end of the season. Long streaks of home games, long road streaks. I was able to get people most of the teams they requested OOC.

I believe Asheville has the only game in Week 1.

Just had an infuriating game...

We start off with great defense and hold them to a 3 and out. Our young scrambling QB makes big plays and drives us down the field but we stall inside the 5. We try to run it in from the 1 on 4th down and fail to convert. But, backed up, we easily force a 3 and out. Unfortunately, next play our QB throws a wild pass that is picked off. Our defense holds but they flip the field. 0-0 at the end of 1.

In the 2nd quarter, they strike first and take a 7-0 lead.

We methodically march down the field and this time our young QB keeps it and runs it in from the 3. He had a nice day rushing with over 50 positive yards but the sacks negated most of that yardage.

Anyway, our defense holds. And our QB marches us down the field and fakes running it in but throws a quick pass for a 3 yard TD to give us a 14-7 lead as the half expires.

I'm feeling good as we get the ball back in the 2nd half.

We are marching down the field and then the QB nano blitzes us! Boom, sack. Boom sack. Boom sack. Crazy. We have to punt.

They march down the field until their HB breaks about 5 tackles and takes it 43 yards for a TD.

Our next drive, our star QB gets hurt!

Our backup can't do much but we get inside the 10. We go for a short FG and it hits the upright!

Our defense holds but their defense does as well.

We are tied at 14 midway through the 4th.

Then, they just start marching down the field. They score with Ronnie Kemp and it is 21-14.

Our star QB comes back from is injury and is brilliant and leads us to a very quick TD. 21-21.

Their backup QB is in the game now and they are throwing it a lot for the first time all game. 3 quick passes... then the biggest BS pass. I had their receiver surrounded with 3 guys.. the ball goes right through my linebacker's hands. My CB just looks at it. My S hits the guy... and he hangs on for a 39 yard catch that puts them inside our 20. They run down the clock and score with 50 seconds left.

We aren't defeated yet though. Our star QB leads us down the field.. then he has a wide open star TE who has been our best receiver... he throws... it hits the TE right in the hands... and bounces off his hands up in the air... and their linebacker dives and catches it just before it hurts the turf for the game sealing interception!!! Ugh! So frustrating. We lose to Vicksburg 28-21.

We had a great game against USF. QB had one incompletion, a drop. other than that he was deadly accurate and making good reads. RB Ward played well too, and the defense was way better than expected, only allowing about 150 total yards to the Bulls in a 41-7 win.

Awesome start for us in every facet.

Incredibly frustrated with my team right now. I don't know how everyone else is getting these low level guys to perform. My guys can't catch anything. Dropping passes all over the place making my offense completely ineffective. My defense played reasonably well but we lost 24-7. Most frustrated I've ever been with this game.

Vicksburg and North Plainfield are tough teams. I opened against USF, who is nowhere near that good.. But for me a lot of success seems to hinge on getting the run game going early. If we can't run it against the CPU or we call too many passes too early, things seem to snowball.

This team is so frustrating. We were doing everything right to beat the Chits. We were about to score the winning TD... my HB catches a simple screen with 9 seconds left and has it stripped and they return it 98 yards for the game winning TD as time runs out. We lose 20-13. So mad at this team.

Hey EF. Looks like we have a matchup of the totally stoppable force versus the other totally stoppable force. Something has to give! One force will have to go unstopped! When is good for you? Weekend mornings work best for me, but weeknights after 9:30 are usually doable with a little planning.

Hey Kodos,

I'm on call Friday and Saturday night so the weekend mornings are iffy. I might be able to do one of them if I have a good night of call, but that would be more of a last minute thing that I would know. Weekday nights are more certain. We could figure out a time that works well. I might be able to do tomorrow night if that works for you.

Let's delay into next week. I've been sick and am just starting to turn a corner. Would like to play when I'm closer to being all there mentally. Maybe Wednesday night next week?

Hey Kodos. This is EF27. For some reason, I can't get onto my account on my laptop that I have at work. I tried resetting my password without any success several times. I have been messing with it for over an hour and decided to just create a new account for the moment...

Anyway, I forgot a critical detail when I suggested tonight... it is my anniversary!! Oops. So, I definitely can't play tonight. I can hopefully play tomorrow night but it really depends upon how late my wife keeps me up tonight
