Kodos, do you have the results of the Conf. Conference week? Texas Tech must of won it (beat Missouri) and jumped to the #2 spot with Washington's lost.
Pretty cool to have a human-vs-human bowl match up. I would've like to see Indiana-Washington in the Rose Bowl. Congrats to all the RFL bowl teams. Is BYU ranked? Last edited by Galaxy : 10-15-2008 at 09:17 PM. |

I didn't have time to write results down. I know VT beat FSU, but that's it off the top of my head.
I'd rather be facing Washington too. Last edited by Kodos : 10-15-2008 at 09:18 PM. |

Alright! In the BCS! I was really hoping for a human vs. human matchup.
Should be a good game. Can't wait

Florida is probably the scariest non-human matchup we could have gotten. Should be fun trying to contain all of their speed.

I'm assuming that we are waiting for Macro before we can advance to the next bowl week?

I'm really surprised that Ole Miss finished with such a strong record. Their overall rating and just talent in general isn't so hot. Hopefuly I can crush them and land some of my big recuits. Mainly I'm hoping to land a few 5 star LB's (Linebacker U baby!) and one of the 2 top QB's that have me @ either #1 or #2 on their list.

I hear Vegas opened up with the Hoosiers as 21 point dogs.
I'll still take the Tigers |

I have no idea where the Meineke Car Care Bowl is. Anyways, bring on the Heels.
Hopefully Marco gets his game in quick. I can't wait to bring home a trophy. Last edited by Galaxy : 10-16-2008 at 11:56 AM. |

Cool stuff Kodos. No Irish made the list. Ohio State, jeez.
The quarterback stats for Texas Tech is pretty insane. Over 5,000 yards, 64 touchdowns, and just 6 picks, on 573 passes. Kind of weird that Matthews won the Heisman, but Lloyd won the Maxwell and O'Brien awards, as well as getting first team All-American. Of course, Matthews was a dual threat. Actually its closer than it looked. I made some dumb mistakes at the end being cocky and allowed them in...however UCLA has a linebacker with arms a mile long. I threw the out and he was in the middle of the field and picked it. And as far as not playing defense, when your team is rated horribly and you know you don't have the corners to keep up, it sucks...I get beat a lot in the air. BTW, Max Hall threw for like 650 yards this game.

I wasn't ripping on your defensive skills. Just saying that your games usually seem to be shootouts.

Wow....I suck.
I got cocky like Macro. Of course, our defense had around 5 picks. Our offense, just sucks. Three and outs. Interceptions. Safeties. Clausen is a streaky quarterback. Our receivers kept dropping passes. The computer decided to run up the score on the final drive. It was 20 degrees and snowy in Charlotte, North Carolina for this game. Michigan wins the Capital One Bowl 42-31 over #13 Auburn behind a whopping 476 yards rushing as a team. Michigan almost had 3 guys run over 100 yards. Here were the final totals:
Carlos Brown: 23 carries for 254 yards, 1 TD Brandon Minor: 18 carries for 96 yards, 1 TD Kevin Grady: 7 carries for 110 yards, 3 TD All three could be back next season, hopefully giving this new look offense even more explosion. |

We got drilled by the Sooners. Holy christ they were working the flats and we just don't have the speed to contend. Of course, I threw some miserable interceptions to make the score rediculous, 52-17, I believe. I was moving the ball really well early on, Locker even got to the corner and busted off a 60 yard scamper. I followed that play up by throwing an INT at the goaline which was returned 100 yards for a touch. Ouch.

Well, predictably, our game was a bloodbath. I just don't have the skills to beat a team with that much more speed. Especially when a better player is controlling them. Alas. GG, Karl. Sad way to end a great season for IU. 47-10 was the final score.

Sorry, Kodos....You were in it for a while there....even when you scored your TD...but that last TD I got before the half ended was just a mix of CJ Spiller being insane, and luck... So, Clemson finishes 12-1 and possibly in the Top 3 going into the off-season. Although it was a hugely successful season, I still wonder "what if?"

Yeah, Spiller and that other RB are just a killer combo. If I didn't get them in the backfield, they were probably going a long way.

Easy victory indeed. I crushed the Rebels in the 1st quarter, and then crushed them in all of the other quarters. The final score was 73-17. I was a bit upset that they scored with 3 and a half left to make it 65-17, but then the next time they got the ball my stud CB had his third pick 6 of the game. Hopefuly this lopsided win will convince some of my 5 star recruits to finally sign.

Dola Yeah...EF is the last remaining guy to play his game this week, then it's on to Bignej and his glorious dismembering of Texas Tech in the National Championship.

If Texas Tech is anything like the Tech I played in NOFL (with Texas A&M), I'd pull back a lineman often to jam up the passing lanes. They threw five or six picks against us in NOFL with that tactic

I'm really looking forward to this game and sealing the deal. Most of my players are seniors and with the other teams in the country(and Big Ten) getting better, it might be a while before I get back.

The first half was a close affair as we were only up 14-13 over Florida at the half. However, the 2nd play of the 2nd half was a 75 yard bomb to Patrick Turner for a TD. After a defensive stop, we followed it up with a 54 yard TD pass to Turner (I'm going to miss him) and we ended up winning 35-16 as our defense played incredible the 2nd half.
Edit: Sanchez with his best game of the year: 5 TD's and 0 INT's.
