I'm not so sure. I'm starting to wonder if I've become too old to be competitive in these leagues. Hit the big 4-0 this summer...

Gotta go tell some kids to get off of my lawn.

As predicted, we lost badly tonight, although not as badly as we did in RFL. Small consolation, really.

Kodos has let me know that he's regrettably going to drop out of this dynasty. I hope he comes back, but we'll continue with the three we have, and Sun Tzu when he joins.

We just didn't have enough talent to compete with Ole Miss. Fumbled everytime we got hit it felt like.

Yeah, the turnover machine was against GV. Something like four fumbles, three lost and a few interceptions. Good game.

Dean squeaks out a 38-35 win over Cinci (I hate the way they play, reminds me of the online players who run 5 WR every single play and nohuddle all the time) on a last second FG

This week's games pit #7 Ole Miss against Indiana, Grand Valley against Cincinatti, and Dean against UConn

Wow, well, I don't know if I can describe how ridiculous my come from behind 69-66 win over Cincinnati just was. By far the craziest game I have ever played. First off, we were down all game. Had no offense to speak of in the first half. Managed to get a safety and one TD in the first half and went into the half down 17-9. The third quarter started the offensive onslaught as I could do nothing to stop Cincy's passing attack. They scored 28 points in the quarter, we scored 22. We went into the 4th down 45-31. We started the scoring with a INT return for a TD. They came right back with another passing TD. We went right back down the field and scored again a 3 yard run. But Cincy answered with another TD, this time 61 yards. We were stopped on a 4th down attempt and Cincy scored again. Score was now 66-45 with 2:30 left in the game. We took the ball and tried to move quickly, but it took us 1:26 before we scored to make the score 66-52 with 1:04 left in the game. We were unable to get the onside, but on the very next play Cincy fumbled the ball, Shane Lloyd picked it up and returned it for a TD. 66-59 with now 46 seconds left. And we still had 3 timeouts. Cincy ran the ball three consecutive times and we were able to force a punt. Very first play with the ball with about 18 seconds left CJ Anderson throws up a bomb to Edwin Nicholas who catches it, breaks a few tackles, and goes 80 yards for a TD. 66-66. Now, only 5 seconds left. We do a squib kick to prevent a return and bring the game to OT. But, on the return, we strip the ball, I still had strip ball on from the last minute desperation attempts. We recover the ball and need to beat one guy to return it for a TD but cannot. That should send it to overtime. But no, facemask on Cincy on the fumble return. Ball is now on the 16 yard line for one untimed down. Of course I bring out the field goal unit. Field goal good, we win 69-66.

Insane game. We were absolutely torched by Cincy. Here is what their QB's final stat line was.

31-40 - 671 yards - 8 TD's.

I usually always run the ball the majority of the time. But being down so much I had to go all out pass in the second half. Especially in the 4th. We had to keep going back to our best receiver Nicholas to have any hopes and he ended up with 15 catches for 391 yards and 3 TD's.

Sorry about half-flaking on you guys. It came down to my wife not OK'ing the extra $300 it would take to buy a 360, NCAA 11 and sign up for XBL. I wound up just getting NCAA for PS3 and getting a league rolling with some other folks. Nothing personal of course. When the boss says no, there's no arguing.

Dean pulls off the win, 38-21. Give cmp credit he kept fighting to get back into it after a couple key plays didn't go his way (pick-six and a fumbled kickoff return)... but Dean made the plays without their starting QB and RB...

Week 12 files up:

#4 Ole Miss v Dean
Grand Valley v Pittsburgh

Ole Miss can clinch at least a tie for the Big East this week, if they beat Dean, and Grand Valley beats Pitt (they'd be up 2 with two to play).

File up, games due by Wed

When do you want to roll with Dean and Ole Miss? I'm pretty much good after 10pm. Nothing really planned for the weekend right now. I could probably do a Saturday or Sunday morning as well if that works better.

Good game. I got taken out of my gameplan early and it showed. I had a tough time doing anything that I wanted to.

In other news, we just signed a 4* QB to go along with our two 4* WR's we signed. We're hoping to revamp our offense for next season.

After 10 is fine by me.. I "Work" the next two nights from home (meaning if it's quiet, I could get it done) and then off sunday and monday.

File is up.

Cngrats to Ole Miss for clinching the Big East Title: All that's left to see is if they play for the national title:

I BELIEVE that if Dean and Grand Valley both win, then Dean will finish second in the conference (head to head) but Grand Valley may get the better bowl game as they were higher ranked).

This week's games:
=============== Dean Bulldogs (8-3) ===============
Last week, Dean lost 31-17 against Ole Miss (10-0).
This week, the Bulldogs travel to Piscataway to face the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (7-3).
In recruiting news, the following Dean targets have announced their decisions:
- (*) C B.J. Anderson has committed to Florida Atlantic
- (*) MLB Ryan Martin has committed to Maryland
- (***) SS Kyle Peters has committed to Maryland
- (***) CB Joe Harris has committed to Dean
- (***) FS Isaac Smiley has committed to Wisconsin
- (***) RT Kirby Williams has committed to Dean

=============== Grand Valley Lakers (8-2) ===============
Last week, Grand Valley won 38-35 against Pittsburgh (6-4).
This week, the Lakers travel to Miami to face the #24 Miami Hurricanes (7-4).
In recruiting news, the following Grand Valley targets have announced their decisions:
- (****) QB Dylan Bell has committed to Grand Valley
- (***) TE Mike Lee has committed to Grand Valley
- (***) QB LaRon Haynes has committed to Grand Valley

=============== #3 Ole Miss Rebels (10-0) ===============
Last week, Ole Miss won 31-17 against Dean (8-3).
This week, the Rebels travel to Pittsburgh to face the Pittsburgh Panthers (6-4).
In recruiting news, the following Ole Miss targets have announced their decisions:
- (***) LT John Williams has committed to Ole Miss
- (***) QB Jermaine Patton has committed to Ole Miss
- (***) WR Jordan Morris has committed to South Carolina

A last minute fumble in Rutgers redzone costs Dean the game, and we lose to Rutgers, 18-17. Week 14 files are up, let';s try to get to the bowl games this weekend, as we have two games to play in week 14, and just recruiting in week 15. The monday is a goal, not an endline
