When discussing Eli v Peyton, shouldn't it be mentioned that Peyton is also a defacto offensive coordinator? I've never seen another NFL QB handle the pre-snap offense the way Manning does, and it has always been the most amazing/unique trait I feel he possesses.

I've only been an NFL fan since the mid-90's, but to my eyes in that 15-20 years no one has even come close to Peyton in terms of controlling the outcome of his offense. If and when he does retire, I will miss watching all his pointing and shenanigans a whole bunch. To me, Peyton still > Eli.

Indeed. Peyton may be one of the most intelligent QB's to have ever played the game.

Uphill isn't so bad, I guess. I think I'll be Barry, though. Not sure I want to spend 2 years in prison getting cornholed.

I think those who are saying Tuck for MVP are over thinking it and trying to think too much outside of the box. Tuck didn't have a very good game. JPP was the only one on the defense that played well all game, but he didn't have a "jaw dropping performance" either.

Ok can someone explain to me why the Giants when for 2 at the end of the game? None of the scoring I could calculate would have mattered with 0, 1, or 2. Either way the Giants are up by 4, 5, or 6?

Only reason would be if they made it, it would leave ever so slightly the door open for OT if the Pats got a TD and missed the XP.

Maybe I missed it or it just wasn't shown on the broadcast, but I was surprised Brady didn't do more to argue against the grounding call. Not that it wasn't the right call, but you gotta sell that better...wrong route, airmailing the throw, something. He just put his head down and ran off the field.

Because Coughlin wanted to fuck with the people that had 1-7, 2-7, & 3-7 in their Super Bowl Squares pool.

No wonder Joe's numbers tailed off badly the last few seasons of his career. Gotta be hard to grip and throw the ball wearing that many rings.

Heard an interesting note mentioned on sports radio earlier today, I believe the figures were essentially 9 drives for each team as opposed to the average 12 drives per team in a normal game. The general point was that the limited possessions contributed to the scoring being down a bit.

Women also like Eli more than Brady, because Brady endorses a cologne that smells like date rape.

Women for Eli Manning from Alison Haislip, Avin Das, Andy Maxwell, Pisha Warden, Funny Or Die, Juliet Seniff, BoTown Sound, and Alex Richanbach

(probably not safe for work)

Weren't people earlier this season questioning Coughlin's job security? A few months later he wins a Super Bowl and now the talk is if he is a lock for the Hall of Fame. Funny the difference a couple of months makes.

Is he now probably a Giant for life until he decides to call it quits?

He's not a lock for the HoF, see Parcells. He has job security due to 2 rings and Eli being his QB.

I know I was. I was one of those people that insisted the game was too complicated for Coughlin & Fewell (the DC) to keep up with. I am happily eating those words today.

But I think it does go to show that there is a reason people (including me) were so overtly pissed off earlier in the season. The very reason they could run the table on the Falcons, Pack, 49ers, and Pats consecutively is the precise reason that fans found it unacceptable to lose twice to the Redskins...with the last being a real must-win situation in order to control their own fate.

And honestly...its not like Eli was out for 6 weeks when they dropped 5 or 6 games or something. They had no excuses really for some of those games they dropped just as there was no magic return of anybody substantial when they started winning. They simply got smarter on defense and perhaps played harder as well. And that is what Giants fans expected.

You also need to remember that there were a lot of changes to the offensive line and it took time for them to get together, and a lot of injuries within the two deep at LB and DB. Those guys weren't great players, but added in with the shortened offseason likely had an effect on early performance.

Orr was crazy and could be grounded. All he had to do was ask; and as soon as he did, he would no longer be crazy and would have to fly more missions. Orr would be crazy to fly more missions and sane if he didn't, but if he was sane, he had to fly them. If he flew them, he was crazy and didn't have to; but if he didn't want to, he was sane and had to.

Nope, Manning earned the clutch reputation a few years ago. Now he is just living up to it. Brady gets grandfathered in since he earned it at one time

So, the game was pretty much what I expected it to be until the game winning drive in the 4th quarter...a snooze fest. It was like watching a pre-season game, but, without the change to the 3rd string quarterback in the 2nd quarter. Even the commercials sucked. Good thing it was an east coast team that won the game or there would have been mass suicides at ESPN headquarters.

Now before anyone even tries to bring up, "It was the most watched game in history" argument...it's the Super Bowl, it's pretty much always the most watched game in history.

That being said, congrats to Eli and the Giants. Nice try Patriots, unfortunately your 'do no wrong' receivers caught a case of Braylon Edwarditis.

Most cheerleading teams, do not actually assume a prostration position when building a pyramid but in Satanic Rituals, it is believed that Lucifer or the devil would assume a prostration position and the witches would line up and kiss his anus as a sign of respect. We not only saw a classic Lucifer Ritual Pose but we also saw the quick building of a pyramid by her dancers.

So, to put this in lyrical form:

On all fours
In your Lucifer Ritual Pose
Tongue held out

Hillary Clinton, according to Fritz the author Illuminati Blood lines, does lesbian rituals at a castle in Belgium.

...

At this time, the female animal has an energy that can extend one’s life and give one beauty but to harness this energy the Fallen Angel and even early Jews, had to have sex with the animal pre-teen female and would often keep them as slaves in a room. This is how the Earth Animals, which looked like Big Foots, became hybrid humans.

So, what Hillary Clinton is doing when she is at this castle in Belgium is simply a warped version of a ritual that was passed down through the ages.
