Yeah. Take the bad with the good, as far as throwbacks are concerned.

I wish the Dolphins would go back to one of their earlier uniforms, anything would be better than the ones they have now.

I would take Bucs Orange over Bucs Pewter/Red every time, but I admit sersey sales have exponentially gone up since the change. Very thankful for throwback days here in Tampa.

I think the pewter Bucs unis are sharp. One of the few new unis that I like better than older versions.

I hate the Falcons unis. The classic red unis were the best uniforms in all of sport. Don't understand why they went away from that.

This. The current Rams are bearable and that is it. To have them in the blue and yellow on a full time basis and then wear the blue and white of the sixties as throwbacks would be awesome.

On a side note I have only been to 4 NFL games in my life (location, location, location) but I know when I shell out the price of an nfl ticket, parking, gas, and eating I would be pissed if my team was playing in a shitty throwback uni. Part of the experience of any sporting event is seeing my team, and the opponent for that matter, in their current gear. Or if not that at least not having to see them in some "clown" outfit.

Jerry Glanville when he was head coach. He said the falcons were soft and needed a tougher image, that all black made them a tougher team and would be more feared. I think at the time I liked the new black jerseys, but now I too much prefer the old jerseys and have been looking for a Steve bartkowski throw back for a while

The black Falcons unis were fine too. I hate the new Falcon logo and the arena league unis.

I had a Bartkowski poster on my wall when I was a kid.

Maybe throwbacks should be relegated to the preseason. Then they would effectively be a way of testing what elements may be popular and incorporated in a future uniform & add some interest to what is otherwise just a way to see some new guys get some fairly meaningless snaps.

They'd better, you don't want your players to accidentally mess up who the teammates are and which are the hostiles. It has to be confusing to wear four different uniforms in a 16-game schedule.

You know...I'm not convinced he didn't have control of that with one hand with both feet in. Surprised that wasn't reviewed.

I though he'd picked it at first, but after replay it looked like he didn't take it out of Harvin's hands cleanly and was still in the process of gaining possession when he stepped out.

Could well be. I tried to slo-mo it, and he kinda did a 180 while still keeping his feet in; tough to tell what the ball was doing. Actually (rewound again), on the first replay from a slightly different angle he is facing inward, both feet on the ground. He might have the ball in his right hand, pressed against his shoulder, but Harvin is in the way. It could have still been moving, but I thought they might have at least looked. By time they showed a second replay, kick was already up.

Robison with at least four pass knockdowns already. Vikings defense not looking so hot tonight aside from that.

I really hope the Wilfs blow it up and clean house with the front office and coaching staff after this season. They've been pretty bad owners so far and need to get someone who actually knows football to run things. Would be nice to have a real GM who will finally do something about the QB situation rather than bouncing between bad young QBs and washed up vets.

Still can't believe the Vikings went with Ponder at 12 overall.

What happened to Ponder the super stud? Wasn't he completing something like 70% of his passes with zero interceptions during the first 3-4 weeks or so of the season?

Why did he have to wait until after the Vikings beat the Lions to remember he was Christian Ponder?

Defenses started lining up to stop the screens and swing passes that Harvin that he'd been living on early in the year, so he's had to start throwing the ball past the line of scrimmage on occasion.

Though I don't think it was Ponder leading the Vikings to 6 points off of two pass interference calls that beat the Lions.

Maybe the Lions should have been able to outscore a team who's QB has a general inability to throw passes beyond 5 yards.

They're probably a 7-9 or 8-8 team. NFC North divisional games are backloaded this year so they haven't played Chicago or GB yet and they also have tough games at Seattle and at Houston.

I hadn't been excited about the teams prospects before this game either, even with a few wins you're really not gonna do much without a passing game. And the schedule really does look tough coming up. They only scored 6 points on offense last time against the Lions too, they could have a tough time against the at home too.

Amazing to think the last time a QB drafted by the Chiefs who was able to win a game for them was back in 1987.
