Days like this...

... make me wonder why I haven't escaped to a southern climate yet. So cold, and winter technically hasn't even started yet. Why didn't I move to Atlanta back in the mid-90s?

My company went through a re-org back in July and the HQ moved from NJ to Orlando. In about 6 years when my daughter is done playing college softball, I'm moving to Orlando because I am sick of cold weather.

Is it too late to move?

North Carolina is great. You get enough winter that you acknowledge the changing of seasons, but you also get some amazing 65-70 degree days to break it up.

Where do you live? I'm getting sick of Atlanta. Maybe we can trade houses.

Since I've sold the cows I can make a list that is a mile long of cold weather BS I don't have to deal with anymore. I'm still living in the cold but it's like a vacation from it.

I would eventually like to get a place in Central America, Panama maybe. I'll give FOFC a good rate on AirBNB as I'll have to be home to bowl enough games to qualify for the state tournament in the winter

Connecticut. I had a chance when I was single to move to Atlanta, but I couldn't convince any friends to go with me, and I chickened out.

My next real hope is that we move when we retire.

I lived in Los Angeles for 4 years and Louisiana for 11 years. I missed the winters and am glad to be back in NJ to experience 4 full seasons each year.

There is nothing more Wisconsin than this.

Unless I get enough games in to qualify before the end of deer hunting season. Then I can stay down there all winter.

Currently mid 50's and blue skies in Colorado Springs.

Plenty of real estate to still be had.

Colorado, maybe. Coffee Warlord, what's Colorado Springs like to live in. I enjoyed visiting a few years ago to hike Pike's Peak and climb in Garden of the Gods.
