I'm not a trekkie so I mostly knew him from his voice and appearances on the Simpsons. He narrated the intro to the Boston Museum of Science Omni theater, which was such a huge deal in the late 80s before modern 3-D and IMAX. We'd take the train into Boston, wait in line forever, and when Nimoy came on and did that intro, you knew shit was on.

Was flipping channels for music to listen to and ran across the remake of the original Star Trek universe first movie-Leonard Nimoy had a big part in it, so was nice to get one last at Spock at his best.
