I'll always hang around as long as it's around, but reddit now provides the content that I used to get here, and then some.

Visit regularly, post occasionally. I'd say I visit way more than I actually should based on the lack of traffic. It's based on years of habit. But it's only when I'm at work these days. I rarely check in here over the weekend when 99% of my internet is done on my phone.

What's nice about still coming here is that people are overall pretty nice to each other, with only a couple of exceptions.

Mostly subreddits related to news, sports (the broader sport subreddits and also those of the teams I follow), history, law, dogs, traveling, Idaho and Boise (and other local subreddits of places I've lived or am traveling to soon).

But I also follow a lot of random stuff like /r/publicfreakout, /r/animalsbeingjerks, /r/cringe, and the subreddit of whatever TV show I'm watching. It was fun to devour all of the Homeland posts after I finally caught up with that show last week. Very similar to the experience of say, the Sopranos thread here during the board's heyday.

I didn't understand what reddit was for a long time but once I finally realized it was really just a big message board with thousands of mini-message boards, it basically became my internet default page.

I'm really just here for the Steam thread, random polls and interactive dynasties. Rarely post.

I'm here for the Boardgame thread, Rate the Last Movie thread, Favorite Movie bracket, Video Games/Steam threads, And the Netflix thread.

Oh, and also to find out if any other '80s icon died recently.

I am similar. I post/read a lot more on reddit (mostly on the subreddits for MLS, Nintendo Switch, NASCAR, Atlanta, etc). Though I somewhat prefer to follow the news here (after reading the NY Times or WaPo) when it comes to message boards.

This is still my homepage, but there are other places (mainly reddit) that I spend more overall time on.

I probably don't post enough to be considered occasionally. But I've checked this site several times a week for 17 years.

I don't post often outside of football season but I check things out a few times a day when builds are going on. I use Reddit some, but never post since there are too many users and you don't get to "know" any of them. I will say I had a bit of a freak out when the link changed last week and i thought the forum was gone.

When it finally goes away...it'll be a big void because I've been coming here for so long.

FWIW, I think a revived Hot or Not series would attract more participation.

Increased board moderation really didn't help things around here.

I lurk usually daily...rarely post anymore.

I am waiting for the day to open the college football weekly thread to see someone ripping one of my calls
