The Kinks vs. Blondie? Are you kidding me? Lose one of my faves early.

Which Van Halen are we talking? Im a big David Lee Roth VH fan. I hated it when Sammy H. joined. Quit listening to them.

Not to nitpick, but some of the matchups are still off from what they should be in a 256 team bracket

as hard as leppard was they just were big empty overproduced sound to me
Bad Company was pure rock pure sex pure overdrive.

That singer was the goods

Thing about Def Leppard, there isn't a single song that I like. I can't stand their music, however I can't find a group whose story I love more. Their classic albums of Hysteria says it all. They are the ultimate example of loyalty to each other as well as their stance on their music.

To counter that, I can't find a group whose members disgust me more than Van Halen. I don't think there's a point in their career where they stood by each other or gave a rats ass about their music. They only seem to want fame. A couple songs in the 80s were okay like jump but meh the rest i can't listen to especially their early stuff. Their Van Hagar stuff kinda bores me a little too but is MUCH more musical than the ROth stuff.

DL live is pretty solid, and they do it without tracks or frills. From 1983. Agree on Paul Rodgers, from Free, to Bad Company, and Power Station, big voice. I saw Queen when he was fronting for them and while there was some stuff he just couldn't do, everything they did have in the set he did justice too. Talented guy!
