Gatesville Silicon Pirates vs. Rochester Lake Monsters
How do you feel about me starting another dynasty with the Bill Gates Challenge still unresolved?

Do whatever makes you happy, Kodos. No sense not writing something else because you feel like you can't start something new while Gatesville is unresolved.
I'm convinced that you can't write these things if you feel like you "have to". Come back to Gatesville when--or if--you feel like it. Have fun. |

I think you've hit on part of it, Blitz. After a while, the dynasties can become more of a grind than when you originally started them. I think that's why a lot of dynasties die off and are replaced by some new dynasty. I love the Bill Gates dynasty, but it's hard to keep cranking out detailed game recaps like that dynasty requires and still keep them fresh. I'm sure you know that all too well from X-Com. (I don't see how you do that dynasty with having to keep track of every move. At least with FOF, I have game logs to work from.)
The whole multiplayer aspect of the IHOF dynasty just got me really excited about FOF again, and I thought a dynasty based on it would only make it more fun and immersive for me. I just worried about letting people down who've been waiting for Bill Gates to resume since late August. Whatever happens, I will get back to Bill Gates at some time in the coming few months. Just waiting for the mood to hit me and for the creative juices to get flowing again. If this is the last season (and it very well could be), I want to make sure it gets a proper sendoff, and not a rushed finish just to get it done. |

Besides, there'll be only one really interesting IHOF dynasty report, the Merchantmen's, as IHOF is my first FOF experience since FOF2. But seriously, I think having several IHOF dynasties alive would be fun, yet everyone can read about it at www_dot_fof-ihof_dot_com, so you (we?) really have to add something to make it interesting to read. Honestly, I doubt my dynasty does, yet I find it interesting to use the dynasty to be able to look back a bit. It seems Vince and "good ol'" SkyDog have as much trouble to keep us updated as you do on that matter...
