So apparently Darren Sharper is really into raping people. This story keeps getting worse for him.

B/c Sharper is not a current player and his actions didn't involve the n-word, it has slipped under the radar a bit compared to other stories. But, yeah, a pretty recent NFL player turns out (if proven, etc.) to be a serial rapist. Scary stuff.

Hopefully he gets the same punishment Dave Meggett (eventually) received.

While, everybody enjoys a good serial rapist story, it simply doesn't generate the kind of cash flow a good racism story generates.

What about a story about a rampantly racist rapist?

Life without parole would be what this douche deserves. He's way more dangerous than a murderer.

Of course. Just hoping the prosecutors can follow through and secure it. Sexual assault prosecutions are notoriously hard to convict on.

The Raiders have something like 70million in cap space. Cannot wait til FA starts and we can play the "who's that random guy that just got 8 figures/season" guessing game.

Excited to hear the rumors of the Chiefs actively trying to land Desean Jackson. Would obviously love to see that level of upgrade at WR for this team until we can figure out whether Dwayne Bowe is permanently stoned or not.

As a result, I am sure Pumpy, wherever he may be, is -very- excited about these new uniforms. I bet he'll updating his Outlook calendar the moment the Bucc's schedule is announced.

I can't think of a dumber move than trading premium assets in one of the best WR drafts in history (both top end, and quality depth) for a guy who is owed $10MM a year, is going to be expecting a new deal, and has a history of attitude problems.

I don't think bringing DeSean Jackson to KC for what it will cost in draft picks and compensation is a good idea. But what do I know?

Brent Grimes signs a new deal in Miami, which is great news.

Rumor has it that Colin Kaepernick wants $18 million a year from the Niners.

Anquan Boldin announces on twitter he's reached agreement on a 2 year, $12M deal with the 49ers. $9M guaranteed

Necessary signing, and the price looks good from here.

The pants seal together the shitty look. I could see the jersey working with white pants, although I am not a fan of dark sleeves like that.

I honestly don't mind the shirts all that much. The pants, yes, are awful. The helmet logo is ridiculous. Combining all three elements is horrid.

I understand the NFL needs to move on and they are making a conscious effort to appeal to the younger generation...I guess, but I am old-school, and I'm the one with the mutha-effin' cash. (If the Corporate NFL knows what I mean!)

Up close the uniform looks good. All the parts actually look good in a vacuum, it's when you tie it all together that I just don't get it.

http://www.buccaneers.com/multimedia...0-3111b41d9518

As a season ticket holder, I will be given the opportunity to see these up close and personal sometime this week (according to the e-mail I just got)...so maybe I'll change my mind.

Also, with the chrome theme also built into the uniform, it's going to make them more expensive to make fakes.

A bargain considering that is what Stafford makes per year. Of course, he shouldn't be making that per year.

Probably should wait to see a deal before we determine if it's a good idea. Most believe they won't get anywhere near what they think they'll get.

And of course, one would assume that Andy Reid knows what he is or isn't getting into.

I'm guessing the black on the Tampa jerseys actually is more of a pewter that the photo is crushing?

Supposedly the helmet has a paint color fade as well

I like the idea that the player that scored gets to kick the extra point. That would make it exciting in a hurry.

Would also last until Tom Brady gets injured.

If they're serious about this the should narrow the goalposts for PAT's and not move it back. In fact, you could probably argue the NFL should narrow goalposts for FG's too at this point.
