Amazing season by a WR

Plaxico Burress finished my 2007 season with 151 catches for 2,409 yards, and 22 touchdowns.

Last season he caught 122 passes for 1690 yards and 13 TD's. Pretty good back-to-back years, I'd say.

Who is throwing to him? That sure is an amazing season. What is your gameplan?

What were your other WRs numbers on the season?

I've had several similar seasons with Harrington to Rogers. I think my second receiver usually has about 900-1000 yards.

Damn, and I was impressed when Quincy Morgan has a 132 catch, 2067 yard, 13 TD season. I guess I am still pretty impressed considering it was QUINCY FREAKIN MORGAN!

Please don't take this as an insult to the game , or anything like that. But...

When it happens in FOF or any other text sim, its "Incredible"

When it happens in a console game its "unrealistic"

Well, Peyton Manning was throwing to him, and he had 4700+ yards and 38 TD's on the year.

Only had 2 other receivers break 100 catches, but #2 had 120 catches for 2066 yards. Couple big seasons, but this could be related to the fact that I've had WAY too many 4,000 yard QB's, as has been reported by others.

I really like both text based games and console games, and really don't have a preference towards either, but you gotta admit that some console games are catching up with the "career" text sims out there, including FOF

The only way to get exact stats is to play strat-o-matic, but that game pretty much bores me to tears.

Well, in FOF it's an anomaly, in console games, it's the norm. If FOF had 50 guys with >1000 yards receiving, and 1 guy with 5000 yds and 102 TD's, then I'd have a problem.

Madden 2004 PC Coach only mode -

RECEIVING REC YDS AVG LONG TD
Terrell Owens 111 3397 30.6 80 37

Now that is unrealistic.

No, when it happens in FOF, it's "incredible."

When it happens in a console game, it's "par for the course."

Not to outdue you, I just had a WR make 143 catches for 2433 yards with 20 TD's. He dropped just 4 passes on the year. I have a great QB, but no running game and no second receiver. The QB had over 5100 yards on the year

Dola, the year before, he had 1990 yards receiving, but after his 2400 season, he held out for a better contract, the bastard...

Ok I see your point (everyone's). I really like FOF , don't get me wrong, its just that sometimes the stats aren't as good as they could be.
