What a halfback!
Well, during my vacation this past week I got to run several seasons of TCY to use as draft files for my FOF career I'm running. My team I was quick simming with had a horrible time of things til I started doing the recruiting, and I finally turned them around. The catylyst of this turnaround was HB Ben Rivera, the best running back I've ever seen in my TCY playing.
Nearly maxxed out in every important running category, he was an absolute stud for me. He redshirted his freshman year, and took off after that. After his redshirt, he was only about 35-40% developed, but he still ran for over 2300 yards, and won the Heisman. He topped his yardage the next year but was the third place finisher for Heisman, and we won our first national championship. 2020 was probably his best season, and he won the Heisman again and we won the national championship again. Remarkably he came back for his senior season and again had over 2000 yards, but got dinged up in a couple of games, and in the national championship, which we won. He finished 4th in the Heisman voting in his last season. All along, he was constantly running in the statistics and Heisman races with a running back from Alabama who was in his same class, and also stayed for his senior season. Rivera's yards, rushing touchdowns, and total touchdowns are all Division I records, but he was edged out in total rushes and all purpose yards by the Alabama back. He holds all the Big 12 rushing and all purpose yards records. I'm very interested to see how well he turns out in FOF2004. One little side note was that he almost failed out his second year in school, and was overall not a good student, rated poor in both academics and asperation. Eat your heart out Skydog ;- )

It looks like the Big 12 because he is Texas A&M, but that is just mere speculation... It also looks like he runs the piss out of the ball... Man what a back!

Doh! Thanks INDall...I was too busy looking at the red bars, lol. I've always wanted to try a running offense, but could never produce a national championship caliber team with it.

Almost 32 carries per game for four years. That brings a tear to my eye.

Just wondering how often some of you guys play FOF games? All these players are good, but not outstanding.
Then again, I power sim through my seasons and play and unusual amount of games |

I was in the Big 12, as someone figured out ;- ) and ran the Wing T for 20+ years. I had an excellent QB to compliment him as well and a pretty stout defense to keep giving him the ball. He had a few games where he got 40+ carries in a game, and had a Big 12 record 393 yards in a game. It was a Division I record for 2 weeks, then that Alabama kid topped it by 3 yards.

Thanks Tasan. What are your percentages...if you don't mind sharing. Any other tweaks? Have you been able to get good yardage with other backs?

99 93 77 59
95 86 62 54 96 41 30 35 97 40 24 38 Thats my running matrix, for the 2021 season. I have end of season files saved for every season so far, for my draft purposes, so its easy to go back and check things like that. I also ran outside more than inside, and had a pretty decent line.

I'm expecting he had a back up tailback who ran for about a thousand once the game was well in hand, and the FB and QB combined for about 700-800 yards. And then of course there's those guys who line up wide and run reverses. |

Here's my team breakdown for 2021. My backup HB just ran for 760+, but won the Heisman the next year as a 5th year senior starting his first full season. My QB never ran much, and I didn't do many reverses either. Notice all those 0s for opponent scores....my D was good.

As soon as I get there I will. It just may take a while as my FOF career is taking a bit longer than my TCY one.
