Mitchell is 100 years old and it showed this year. I actually thought Levens did a good job backing up Barber...a hell of a lot better than Dayne anyway.

I think Dayne has a lot of potential, but he didn't have instant success and I think that destroyed him mentally. When he runs now he just doesn't look like he's trying.

well, im the guy who still wears Wheatley jerseys to the game (and 8 years later, I WAS RIGHT!)...so maybe im just a fan of big backs who suck for big blue.

I wish the Giants would just let Dayne go. They obviously have no use for him, and he needs a chance to start over somewhere else. I still think he can be a productive NFL running back.

Ron Dayne, 1 yard and a cloud of dust. The guy is not an NFL back.

Ron Dayne doesn't use his size when running. He's a 250lb back that runs like a 190lb back. He should watch film of the Bettis runs, because he tries to use his feet to juke way too much and that has him slow getting through the holes. Someone needs to tell him he just doesn't have the speed and agility to play that way in the NFL.
