Downloadable Game Plans

I've played each of the FOF in the series, but the new game plans are throwing me for a loop -- well just the opposite acctually.

I am unable to get a passing game going.

Does anyone have some WCO, 4-3 Def game plans -- so that I can see what I'm doing wrong?

Thank you

No one shares because they don't want to give away their multi-player secrets.

Quite okay.

I think I have it figured out now.

Would be nice a few options were available in a drop down menu in game. Than you could tweak that.

What I'd like to see is some kind of high-level instructions that the AI coaches use to make the gameplan, which can then be tweaked if necessary. For example, think of buttons to do the following:

Pass/run more.
Run left/right more.
Screen/Short/Med/Long pass more.
Use FormationX more.
More, including defensive.

Get the idea? Keep hitting the buttons until you get the right "shape" to your gameplan. Or it could be implemented as sliders.

Another thing would be off and def gameplanning abilities for coaches. A coordinator's ability would determine the quality of the gameplan. The head coach could be nominated to gameplan for either off or def (but not both) if he's better than the coordinator.

ZXTT,

I think Jim has re-working the gameplan as one of the new features of future football releases. Including seperating Offensive and Defensive Gameplans.

Dutch,

I hope you're right. I appreciate all the detail that is available in the gameplans, but I found when I tried to worry about it, it takes me too long to play the game and I end playing other games instead. I do want some control, though. I'd like the coaches to develop a sane game plan and then allow me to emphasize things that I'd like.

For now, I've tried to push the control freak in me away, and let the coaches set gameplans before each game.
